Lovely place to stay

I stayed one night as I was travelling with work and I would say that Glade End is quite a gem. I was initially a little surprised with the 'self check in' process, but found it reassuring in all the information there was clear contact details provided (though I had no need to use them). A comfortable and clean place that (despite other guests staying) was lovely and quiet. My only issue was that there wasn't a desk in the room I had (a small ish room, but there would be room). The breakfast service the following morning was good, quick and a nice choice available. Parking was tight and on arrival there weren't any off road spaces left, but i did find a space on the road easily enough.

A Gem in Marlow

Deciding not to book again in a well known hotel in Marlow, we were given Glade End's number by the tourist office. What a lovely experience! Firstly very efficient emails confirming our reservation, and, giving details of location and check in procedure. Very well appointed immaculate room, ( as was the whole interior) nice welcoming touches, biscuits included with the tea making facilities, and , bottled water. Lovely white fluffy towels , hair dryer, trouser press and wi fi all included. A delightful freshly cooked breakfast served by welcoming and friendly staff. Although we stayed on two of the hottest nights known for years, Glade End had provided fans for all rooms, as the open windows did not provide enough air. Certainly on our next visit to the area, we will try and stay at Glade End again.

Superb home from home

Two couples stayed at Glade End on Saturday 27 June. Could not fault it. Excellent communication before arrival. Spotlessly clean room, bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits in room, fresh milk available, lovely toiletries, soft, fluffy towels, top quality quilted toilet roll, crisp white sheets, really comfortable bed, delicious full English breakfast cooked to order, superb choice of fresh fruit, great quality sausage and bacon, real coffee hot but not too strong, really impressed by whole experience, table and chairs outside for pre and post dinner drinks, would definitely stay here again - ten out of ten! Highly recommend.

Marlow visit

This was our first stay at Glad end and certainly will not be the last. We had a room at the front which was very spacious and calming décor. The only reservation about our room was the noise from the traffic because of the heat we had to have our windows open. Having said that the guest house is on busy junction. Could put people off going back but not us . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and sets you up for the day. Thank you for making our stay in Marlow very enjoyable

Fabulous, welcoming B&B in Marlow

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Glade End during a visit to see friends in Marlow. The self-service check-in system works so well, meaning you can arrive at any time. The instructions provided in earlier emails made it self-explanatory. I stayed in No. 4 which is located next to the main house. My room was lovely - it was comfortable, nicely furnished, with a spacious shower room. The towels were super fluffy! Nice touches included tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer & a good wifi connection. Even though the guest house is located next to a busy road, there were no issues with noise - my room was lovely & quiet & the off-road parking was most welcome. The breakfast options are great. Lots of choice of cereals, fresh seasonal fruits as well as made to order cooked options. Lily & her team were so welcoming & made my stay a most enjoyable one. I would recommend Glade End to everyone - it's so much nicer to stay in an individual place rather than a soulless hotel. I will definitely return.

Excellent B&B not far from Windsor

Lovely guest house, felt welcomed even though they have a system of self collection of key to room (great idea as you can turn up at a time to suit you, and no hassles about the key collection). As it is located beside a main A road expected to have car noise at night but we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and the host and staff very accommodating to our needs. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others. Tried the Italian restaurant located down the road (and recommended in Glade End's Information Booklet) and had the best Italian meal I have ever had.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely overnight stay after a yummy lunch at the nearby Hand & Flowers. The location is great, with only a short walk to gorgeous Marlow. Our room was fine, the bed was large and comfy. Our bathroom was extremely large but with no bath only a shower - as the room looked quite high end (nicely tiled, pretty window shutters, double sink) we were quite disappointed that the shower power was so poor (more of a dribble) and wasn't particularly hot... Our only quibble after paying for a more expensive king bedroom. Breakfast was yummy and the service was great (you do have to book a breakfasr time so best to get in early with a time if you want a lie-in!)

Excellent Guest House in Marlow

We recently stayed at Glade End when we were booked into the Hand and Flowers as a special treat for my husband's 60th birthday, courtesy of our daughter and son. Our luxury king size en-suite bedroom was located at 75 Glade Road, across the road from Glade End and owned by the same proprietor. The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was superb with large bath, separate shower and big fluffy towels. Free parking was very useful and the property is fairly close to town, about a 10min walk. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We would highly recommend Glade End to anyone wishing to stay in a quality property in Marlow.

Great guest house

Spacious and well maintained ensuite room in easy walking distance of Marlow centre. The breakfast was great particularly the fresh fruit salad. The only thing stopping a 5th star is the proximity to the main road but the traffic noise really wasn't a big issue.
