They are run of a mill coaching institute. I found the methodology horribly wrong. Anyone aiming for GL pattern exams should certainly avoid it at any cost. The support system is quite rudimentary. You are not given the plan and the test center staff ( a lot of them) are quite rude. They think they are working for MI6 and would not discuss/disclose the next steps/books etc... This institute should be named a VR/NVR coaching centre. I would not recommend anyone to join this institute.

I hope they will not delete my feedback...this time I want to put zero star to ae tution but sadly there is no option.. No it is not true ... I have written what I felt and that is completely true ....I would love to give zero star to Ae tution...and this is true ..

Worst experience I have ever had with any company. Terrible customer service. I am not even minimally satisfied with this company's Education service and attitudes of the staffs.
Unprofessional faculty behaviour
In Feltham AE tuition, one of the faculty member is so unprofessional in dealing with concerns of kids to parents that the feedback about the child is shared outside the building gate, where all the parents are gathered to collect their kids, and so one can clearly hear what is being said about the kid even though one doesn't have any intention to. Can someone from AE convey this, that it's least expected from someone in teaching profession. Feedback can be shared over a note or over email if they can't get a private place to share the same.
12-month 11+ package from AE I highly recommend
To prepare for 11+ will need joint efforts of parents and kids. Practices are very necessary (if you question this basic assumption, please do not continue to read the rest text). I am so happy that I was introduced to AE Tuition and used it for 12 months, which I will attribute enormously my DD's success to. AE has its structured syllabus and designed progress map of different lengths, with different interim feedback or mocks provided to see the progress and your kid's relative performance. One of the amazing features I found so helpful is my DD received all-around training for various types of exam questions and contents, which she never got surprised in the real exams. Eventually, she received offers from all the following independent schools she attempted and our final option. We're so happy and thankful for the AE tuition as it gives DD the best foundation in all the subjects for these results. I'd like to recommend AE if you target selective schools at 11+ entry with only a year or so to go.

Absolutely wonderful coaching for 11 Plus! Highly recommend.
This review is for both my daughters who have attended 5 years apart the AE Tuition classes to help them get into a Grammar school in the UK. Both have really enjoyed being a part of this learning which eventually helped them gain admission into the school of their choice. Being first generation immigrants into the UK we found it tough to understand what was required for preparing for these exams and AE Tuition and their intense guided methodology helped us as well. The entire experience has been fruitful and I would advise other parents looking to prepare their children for 11 plus exams to try these folks but be prepared to spend a lot of time with your children to help them ease into a very different way of learning and also the weekly tests and mock exams help the children ease into a time specific exam scenario which they may not have been used to.
HEAD OF TUITION
the education you give to us help people all around the world
BEWARE of this AE tuition company.
BEWARE of this AE tuition centre. We had very bad experience with AE tuition. We kept asking help for our child but they did not resolve any problems we had. We told them in November and even before that our child was struggling and was getting stressed and depressed but they gave appointment on 4th of December to speak to teacher. When we went there our daughter was sent to class by teacher and then teacher said she could not resolve any issue and they treat child equally. When we talk about equality and diversity, it is not treating everyone equally, it is all about everyone need to have equal opportunities and their need must be addressed. My daughter (10 years old) went under extreme stress. She is getting nightmares . She could not sleep in nights. She reported that tuition centre did not listen to her and her needs were not assessed. Then we stopped standing order as we cannot continue with AE when child is in stress and crying as no support given. However, on the top of that AE tuition, despite of taking it seriously started threatening us on taking us to court for legal action as they want full December fees of 293 pounds. They said according to term and conditions we have to pay for one month. They are not bothered about child health, they did not provide good customer support but now threatening us to court. We were told that why we took her on 4th December to class and we allowed her to attend. So, answer is: We were given appointment for December, despite of raising issue early November. And then even in the appointment none of the issues were resolved. I would like to warn everyone that AE tuition is just money making machine. They don't care anything. I am getting call from receptionist threatening me court, none of higher authority want to speak to us. They already took 250£ deposit just to secure place, which is ok but now just my child attended one day class that was just as teacher sent her to class first and then told us that none of the problem can be resolved. Now AE tuition said why we sent her to class. We did not. The teacher asked her to. Signing contract does not mean that AE tuition can do whatever they want and not providing good services.
Amazing books and content

Year 4 Core Maths and English at…
Year 4 Core Maths and English at Feltham This is a live review. I will keep it updated as we go through above course that started in September 2021. Update October 2021: They provided 45 minutes extra support class for the topics my son was struggling with. Scheduling this was very easy and front desk staff are very polite and helping. I am hoping this will benefit my son. Regarding point "Every week there is specific teaching content delivered by an expert teacher dealing with maths technique and English comprehension, spelling syntax and grammar." - My son confirms that there is no such session. During these two hours they take multiple tests and explain mistake. It will be really good if along with homework they also mention the topics covered in these 'teaching content'. Also what proportion of 2 hours is spent on test vs 'teaching content' ? Regarding my comment on franchise model: Current course structure is books based and in absence of proper 'tution' this is very silimar to franchise model. Regarding "challenging work": For every child there is a limited time available on week days. So to make best out of this time its important to challenge them by quality and not quantity. Maths homework is too much, easy and boring for my son. We find english homework much less but maths takes away most of his time. Regarding "Marking homework by parents": I accept your point. Original Review: At class, pupils work on different workbooks which are checked by teaching assistants. They help pupil individually which is good. But for homework onus is on parents to check 8-10 workbooks and write comments in dairy. These comments are picked up by assistant teachers in next class and they help pupils on any significant difficulties highlighted by parents. Although this process does help pupils in setting a routine, it has following problems: 1. There are no lessons. This is not a tution. This is merely working on a test series with some support. AE workbooks are great and I am sure much research and time was spent on creating these. But without tution this is just a franchise model. 2. Some workbooks have questions based on concepts that were never taught in school yet. Example Roman numbers. These may be part of syllabus in pupil's school further down the line, its not fair to ask pupil to work on these problems which were never taught. Such questions will reduce confidence of a pupil. 3. The focus is on quantity rather than on quality. Each pupil irrespective of ability gets equal amount of workbooks in Maths and English. And this is huge 8-10 workbooks per week. So if a pupil needs to work more one subject, he/she will not have enough time as other subject is taking the time away. 4. The reason many parents take help from AE tution is because they can offer very less time of their own. So expectation from parents to check 8-10 workbooks a week is a huge ask. This checking and working with child takes good 2-3 hours per week of a parent. Since my son is still enrolled in this course i will be looking forward to AE tution to resolve above issues.
