Tanzeel was respectful, calm, honest, professional & methodical - a very good driving instructor. I passed 1st time with him and with only 3 minors. Don’t waste your time and money with the cowboys out there, choose A1.

Was struggling with another driving school, came to Zaf at short notice and had a few lessons and passed with Zaf. Best instructor in Derby no cap. Would recommend A1 to any students out there looking to learn 100%.

I started learning with A1 instructor in last August, Saima is my second instructor as I struggled to understand my first one. Saima is very patient and very informative when teaching. I was having problems with roundabouts at the beginning, I couldn’t understand where I did wrong with it. Saima kindly offered demonstration all the time showing me the correct way to approach it. Her demonstration helps me to grasp the idea of driving in all situations. She is also familiar with all the Derby test routes and keep you updated on any roads work. I have just passed today thankfully with her car. If you are like me struggling to understand instructions verbally, Saima will be your best bet!

100% recommend training with a1, zaf in particular. Huge difference between zaf and other instructors he really knows his stuff. Prepared me by giving me the relevant theory and applying which I wasn’t told beforehand by other training providers.
