I passed first time with Sonia & she’s amazing. After feeling very nervous she reassured me a lot & made me feel much more relaxed. After having a bad experience with a different driving school she made my experience an amazing one. I enjoyed all my lessons with Sonia & always taught a lot each lesson. I would highly recommend a1 ! They are the best.!

I was no where near test ready but my test was in 2 weeks. I came to A1 and farzana helped me massively to pass first time . Very nice and friendly , we got along well and she taught me greatly by being stern when needed.

I took so many driving lessons instructors ,I wasn't happy then my friend recommended me A1 driving school .A1in the best driving school in the derby, I have just passed my test today thanks to them.If you ask me I would recommend Sonia as a driving instructor, She is great, thanks so much Sonia!

Great and friendly

I started my driving lessons with a different driving school, but my instructor had his own plans, as he kept cancelling lessons on my scheduled lesson days, I got frustrated and then found A1 driving school. Haji was my first instructor and he was more than amazing, knowledgeable and extremely patient. My test date coincided with another student’s so Tan was asked take me for my test, and I had 1week of back to back lessons before my test day… now I am proud to say I passed my test… A1 driving school is highly recommended if you are looking for a driving school in and around the derby area. Passed my test with Haji. He is a fantastic person, some instructors want to waste time so they can get more hours from you, but Haji was the only person that never wasted any time and didn't mind going over the time period that was booked. Me, my brother and my sister all used A1 driving school. Thanks Again Haji

Haji Akhter Is an amazing instructor 10/10 would recommend. I started learning at derby in April and managed to pass first time in June. His style of teaching leaves you in full confidence. Very friendly and very patient when giving instructions often going the extra mile to make himself available for lessons.

Amazing Driving School, 10/10. I passed with A1 (Manny) on my first attempt all thanks to their in depth lessons. I’ve heard stories from friends about many other driving schools wasting time during lessons but with A1 you are constantly learning from start to finish and they aim to get you test ready in a fast and effective way.
