I passed my test first time with only 1 minor with Usman from A1 driving school. I would like to say thank you to my instructor Usman for building my confidence on the roads and the roundabouts, because of his patience and determination I passed first time! I found all my lessons to be well organised and my instructor went that extra mile to work on my weaknesses in order for me to pass first time. Usman is an amazing instructor who I would highly recommend! Thank you Usman and thank you A1 driving school.

Well,I can’t explain my happiness and gratitude for Haji Akhter and his Son Zaf who agreed for driving lessons and driving test just one day before my test when Tens of instructors refused me as it was very short notice especially in this busiest most time. Haji Akhter was so nice and kind and his son has definitely got these good traits from his father. I am happy that I passed my test in first attempt so there efforts did not go into waste. I would highly recommend this academy to the learners especially in these uncertain times of pandemic because I am sure they won’t leave you in lurch.They will stay with you and get you passed and that’s what you need. First time pass , 1 minor. Started day one with Kamran. Had never driven before so he taught me everything there is to know inside and out of the car , from adjusting your mirrors correctly to what to do in tricky situations on the road. Always came on time for lessons , never cut them short. 100% recomend and if i had to do my driving all over again , this would be where i go!

Passed first time with Muazzam ! He was very patient & very supportive ! The amount of encouragement and support I got helped me overcome all the difficulties I was facing ! He definitely knows how to make sure you are improving every lesson so I definitely recommend !

Having absolutely no knowledge about the UK’s rules made me worry about getting my driving license at the beginning, so I contacted Haji Akhtar and took 11 driving lessons with him where everything was covered including mock exams up until the day of the driving test. He was extremely helpful and patient and I definitely recommend anyone looking for lessons to contact him. You wont be disappointed!

From my experience of going through more driving instructors than I care to share on a public platform, I have always believed that many driving instructors know how to drive but don't have the skills to teach driving. I would know, I teach for a living. So believe me when I tell you, you won't get a better driving instructor out than Sonia. She is consistently patient, models what she wants to see, allows you to practise over and over again, encourages you to reflect when things go wrong, so that you can do better. I honestly believe this is the philosophy that the A1 Driving School bases its teaching on. Patience, teach, practise and encourage. Thank you Sonia. For making me drive round and round those roundabouts, for  the countless hours we spent in so many different car parks, practising reverse parking  till I got it right!
