The Window to Remember and Reflect on Life Through

Pleasant surroundings,... clean and tidy, and very welcoming. The large window looking out from the chapel is a real masterstroke,, allowing people to reflect on the life of the deceased in comfort and solitude.

Peaceful atmosphere.

Very calming, respectful attendants. Peaceful atmosphere. Seating arranged facing a huge windowed wall onto a garden designed to attract wildlife, which it does. This gives a welcomed visual focus when needed.

The setting helped to ease the sadness…

The setting helped to ease the sadness for friends and family. The large picture window and the waiting area for mourners is an advantage. Staff have shown sympathy and understanding.

A motorcyclists dream send off......

From our first visit to view the site in our early days of loss, we were immediately made to feel very welcome, to feel supported, cared for and fully informed of all aspects available that would suitably fit our requirements. Our questions were answered in full as we were given a tour of the service hall, surroundings and areas. We were shown what was available to all for consideration. We immediately felt The Oaks had everything we were looking for. Empathy in abundance, respect for our loved one without being overbearing, attention to detail for the service we were aiming for, with small suggestions of what we may, or not, want to think about allowing us options.... As we knew there would be an unknown number of motorcycles riding as escort to the hearse, we felt it appropriate not to have the sound of engines revving, perhaps interrupting the farewell of other families at their loved one's send off...... The Oaks were able to offer the amazing option of a Saturday service which for our family, enhanced the day perfectly. 'Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at The Oaks, Havant, for you kindness, care and unfailing willingness, enabling our Steve's send off to be the most precious time we had wished for. Our love and gratitude to you all.

Everything was as I asked

Everything was as I asked, there was no being hurried, everyone was so kind and reassuring. The surroundings are so calming and tranquil you couldn't ask for anywhere lovelier to say goodbye to a loved one. Thank you to everyone
