I bought a band saw from Poolewood which had a few problems. They were great at sorting them out and arranging a replacement machine as well as keeping informed. It's when things go wrong when you really find out if you're going to get good customer service. I will certainly be buying more things from Poolewood knowing if anything goes wrong they'll sort it out and not leave me high and dry. Thanks Ian and everyone at Poolewood.

I don't have a problem with Poolewood but I do have a problem with a Charnwood extractor that they suppied. Having put the machine together I turn this on and a bolt and washer come flying out into the dust bag. I then spend an hour and a half with phone calls and taking the machine apart to find that this bolt is one of four that fix the motor to the housing, another bolt is hanging out and the other two are only finger tight, no wonder it was noisey.

Could not fault the service I've had.i had a small problem , when I went to assemble the wood lathe I found that there were no nuts for joining the main part to the legs so rang about it and received the nuts next day . Fantastic
