After a lot of research I bought a lathe and was delighted when I had a text saying the item would be delivered next day. Delight was shattered when this was followed by a cancellation of delivery. A swift call to Poolewood Machinery resulted in a concerned promise to investigate and call back. True to their word within half an hour I had that call. It turned out the item was too heavy for the carrier and needed a lorry delivery, which happened the following day! To cap it all the Charnwood 1420 lathe has been superb.
