Claim settled very quickly. A top insurance Company

My dog was bitten by another dog and required stitches. It was a traumatic experience for me and her, but my vet had the Vetsure claim form already so all I had to do was fill out my part of it, the vet filled in the rest and that made the financial side of things very easy to deal with. Subsequently, the claim was proposed without any further input from me.

Claude was unfortunately diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour last year. Treatment suggested was radiotherapy & Vetsure were so friendly & supportive any time I called. They were also happy settling all his bills directly up to the limit. Claude also had 2 further unrelated claims the same year & I assumed we weren't covered as we'd reached our limit but my vet pointed out that the limit was per condition. I really don't know how we'd have managed with any other insurer. My only suggestion would be a further option of a policy with a higher limit. Thank you so much for the peace of mind, we are so grateful.

Easy to sign up to with good explanation as to what is covered. Not used yet so unsure how easy it is to claim.

The one occasion we needed to make a claim it was easy and done without a fuss which is exactly what we needed when worrying about our cat and having to assure 3 children and comfort them so we were very grateful of such understanding customer service.

Changed pet insurer February. Been with previous insurer since puppy days, claimed in first year but not since, however over the years price increased and increased. This year decided to shop around and found Vetsure site. Got a very good quote from a very easy to use website, fully aware there is a 10% discount the first year, however still have twice the cover as before. I had to claim last month as my Doberman had gastroenteritis and a temperature of 40, and needless to say was taken to our vet - had to be out of hours and a bank holiday weekend(!). Vetsure was excellent, paperwork was left with our vet, and forwarded promptly to Vetsure, They checked history with our previous vet, and the full claim (less excess) was paid within 10 days from submission. Cant fault it. Will have to wait and see what it does to the premium next year, but very happy to date. The only aspect I dont like is that because my vet is not on their list I have to pay an extra £20.00 on my excess. However the vet we use is excellent and is also a hospital, and the only one in the area on their list does not have such a good reputation or the facilities of the one we use.

From the first visit to the vet for Lucy, suffering with a bad skin allergy, claiming is so simple! We see the vet, give the completed & signed form to the vet. The vet completes their part and then faxes it to Vetsure. We have nothing else to do as the vet deals directly with Vetsure regarding payment
