Great platform, great live tutors, terrific resources and the AI tutor works surprisingly well!

Franca is an excellent teacher of french, very intelligent and patient, I would recommend her openly to everyone wants to speak fluently in french.

My son is quickly grasping the material. I thought it would take weeks is only taking 1 to 2 sessions. I’m surprised at how well everything is going! And relieved!

Update#2: I'm updating my rating once more. Even though i was nor able to find a tutor to assist me I did receive a full refund. VT took my concerns in to consideration and stood behind their product issuing a quick refund. Update: i changed my rating from one start to two because i spoke to customer experience agent and they issued me a refund after i explained my experience. If you do experience issues be aware that you can ask to cancel and request a refund within 30 days. This service was not useful at all. I was matched up with a tutor that didnt showed up 20 minutes late to our first session and was not helpful on the rescheduled session. I also had instant sessions where one time the turor just ended the session and another where they were not helpful.

Good Communication

Joe was excellent!. He took his time and explained everything I was having trouble in. He was awesome! I went to school the next day and started asking questions that she didn’t think I knew. Lol ! She asked me was i cheating. I feel good knowing I can answer questions and that the teacher seeing a difference in me.

My daughter had a great first session, she verified a lot of what she is learning. She is now looking forward to the next lesson!

My tutor, Julien, met me exactly where i was. We didn't waste time on anything I already knew, and he went at just the right pace on the new material. Then, he helped me with a review of what I learned.

So, below was my original review, since then I have received a call from Varsity Tutors. The manager was very nice and understanding of my situation; in which, showed that I had not used any hours since my original purchase. All these details helped her understand, why I was upset about not getting my money back! It’s a really big deal to have the company care enough to make things right- I appreciate that. At the end of the day, that’s all I wanted, and what I was so upset about! Thank you for making this right! If you do not cancel they will take your money and not refund you——EVEN WHEN YOU DO NOT USE ALL THE HOURS PROVIDED. They just keep charging and will not give you your money back! Who in the hell wants to use there service after they will not give you your money
