I really have fun with my classes. It is challenging but the teacher is very supportive.

The tutor was great but the price was horrible and the self learning they use to jack up the price is also garbage. Further, it was impossible to cancel the recurring charges, I had two cancelation confirmations and still had to watch my credit card statement bc they kept charging me. Other tutoring services don't do this, it is horrible. Go elsewhere

My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia through her school.. since school started this year she’s been struggling because we moved districts and her IEP plan hasn’t gone into effect yet. I didn’t want her to get behind so I searched online for a solution to help her learn to read. I found varsity tutors. After the first week of assessing her they informed me that she is not dyslexic! She’s just having a hard time putting letters together to read the words. We are on week 2 and she’s already improved from where she was and I’ve never been happier! They are the best at what they do and it was the best decision I made for her.

Deceptive marketing. Hidden cancellation buttons on website designed to make it more difficult to cancel sessions. One tutor we did not request schedule sessions for us and informed us when he would meet with out son without consultation with parents. They were not clear about contracts. Rescheduling was difficult and if you don't use monthly paid for sessions, fees are deducted regardless. Essentially, this company did not listen to our needs and when I called for help there were aggressive marketing tactics to purchase more classes. It turned into a headache quickly when all we wanted was some help with physics. Recommend staying away. (and honestly I'm not buying the rating Varsity Tutors is getting on Trust Pilot. Seems somewhat sketchy compared to what is appearing on Yelp)
