This company continued to charge me after the tutoring we used was done. It was months later and they charged my card on file even though we had not had a tutor for months during summer and into a new school year when my daughter returned to school. They were not willing to refund their charge even though no tutoring or services were rendered. Not good! Not trustworthy.

Horrible experience with tutor Denys B. He was impatient, condescending and rude to my child. The tutor made a deeply inappropriate and hurtful comment, referring to my child as "dumb." Such remarks are not only unprofessional but also damaging to my child's self-esteem and motivation. As a parent, I trusted that Varsity Tutors was going to provide a patient tutor that would foster a supportive and encouraging environment, where my child would feel respected and valued, regardless of their academic progress. Unfortunately, this incident violated that trust. Varsity tutors was informed about this incident and they replaced the tutor but I don’t believe they fired the tutor that made the disparaging comments to my child. I’m writing this so that parents can be made aware of this tutor and avoid the experience we had with him.
