From first contact to the final part being carried into the church this was a first class experience. We are a firm of church pipe organ builders and required transport to transplant a large pipe organ from Plymouth to Devizes. Pipe organs are complicated mechanical instruments with hundreds of parts, some extremely large and heavy and some small and delicate. From the first phone call to the office the firm understood our requirements and despite not being able to confirm dates very far in advance they arranged the move for the days we needed. The two lorries arrived on time and Ben, Toby, Aiden and Jo were able to quickly grasp the complexity of the task in hand and with our guidance the trucks were soon loaded and the organ safely packed in. Unloading the following day was a little more of a challenge as they had to park outside the church gates and carry everything down a long church path but again, everything was done carefully and with good humour. The four guys were great to work with, cheerful, helpful and happy to be guided by us as they worked. Armishaws and their men made this a ‘pain free’ operation for us and we would certainly recommend them.

Update Do not use. 4 frames severely damaged. Stare case damaged. Mirror smashed. Rude Mr Pat who is intimidating you Agree with all other responses- stay away Packing finished 1.5 hrs after agreed time and one hour after completion. I was changed for 1.5 hrs extra work at 450 but it was 0.5 hours after agreed time. I had to pay on the spot without invoice. My bed was not assembled and they promised to come back, which they didn’t. They also damaged property and did not hang wardrobe clothes as per agreement. Do not use.

Armishaws really saved the day for us. Our house move was moved forward and the company I had signed up with (on a friends recommendation) then couldn’t move us on our new date. With less than 10 days before we move, we had no removal company. In step Armishaws. Chris and Ed were fantastic in getting me a quote quickly and Ed in particular walked us through exactly what would happen. Very flexible on whether we packed it ourselves or not! The guys on the day were all brilliant, moved everything quickly and safely, even when it decided to chuck it down for 45 minutes! Couldn’t fault a single part of the process and if we ever move again (which I hope we don’t!), I’d only use Armishaws.

The company provided two vans and two drivers. This was the perfect solution for us as we were moving furniture from home and storage. Keen and willing guys, who importantly were there for both days of our move, who were calm and organised and made the move a success.

The team were very efficient tidy and extremely helpful, doing everything they could to make the move as easy as possible for us. The whole process, from estimate to final delivery went very smoothly.
