I was able to find someone local, meet and greet ahead of our trip and was able to contact our host during our vacation. Our dog was extremely well cared for, happy and had just as much fun as we did.

My first experience with DogVacay was not so great, not due to any fault of the website. The sitter did not seem very experienced with dogs and I had to leave in the middle of my mini vacation weekend to come pick up my dog and scramble to make other arrangements which ended up costing much more. However, my second experience was with a much better sitter and I thought it was great.
