Fantastic service. Repaired and converted a 25 year old camcorder tape. V pleased with results and prompt and professional.

I have recently had an 8mm film, over 50 years old, transferred onto a DVD. I am so pleased with job you have done, far beyond my expectations as the tape was so old, and some of the sound track was damaged! I now have a clear vision and sound of ‘grandad’ for my six grandchildren, that he was sadly, never able to meet. The DVD shows their grandad at 32 taking great delight in his hobby of radio controlled aeroplanes! We are a very happy and grateful family!!

At the beginning of the disc the format is wrong, cutting out some important titling, The whole film has been transferred at the wrong speed, slowing down the pace of the commentary. Part of the reel was not transferred. Altogether, the disc is quite useless.

We had super 8's put on to a DVD and Cine-magic provided a great service. We opted to have the film without music but we're advised by someone at Cine-magic that the film would be better with the music and he was definitely right! We were so impressed with the service that we have dug out nearly 300 slides to turned into digital. Thank you

From start to finish CINE MAGIC been just that, keeping me well informed at every stage of the process.Even phoning me to advise me that the addition of music ( contrary to what I had thought ) would enhance the experience. And they were right. I was amazed when I viewed the end product, To bring the films, some of which were one hundred years old and deteriorating, back to life on Disc was incredible. Such a wonderful result from a pile of mixed up cine films. The friendly staff were helpful and informative at every stage. Their knowledge of this product gave me great confidence in the results; and I wasn't disappointed. The quality of the films are far better than expected, especially as some of the originals were not very good. I was delighted with the quality of the DVDs considering that some of the 16mm family films were more than 60 years old and were getting a bit fragile. The cost was very reasonable and the whole process was handled in an efficient and friendly manner. I asked Colin to re-do the first film I sent as I felt it was running too fast and there was some juddering, He immediately did this and it was fine... so I sent a whole box of films and the conversion is excellent. Family history coming alive in glorious colour!
