General service was good, however was verbally encouraged to purchase an item by the sales staff offering a small reduction of £5 which was not honoured at the till. I raised it but was made to feel embarrassed by asking why the offered reduction was not reflected at the till. The manager loudly stated that they could not offer to sell at a loss- really 🤔. Frankly the manager should have explained to her staff that discounts should not be offered to entice customers which could not be honoured. The stock in the shop is of quality but I suggest customers need to be careful when making a purchase and especially which reductions are being offered. If I really wanted the item I would have bought it but the incident at the till put me off purchasing the item.
