So comfortable they help to fuel the conversations

We went to the metro centre store to look at dinning chairs. Leigh helped us to decide on our final choice and as a result we bought them. Friendly and very helpful are some reasons why we continue returning to B&S to get the bespoke and elegant designs for our home.

Fantastic service

Just took delivery of a Rothbury bed and Simba hybrid lux mattress. Sales team in Birstall were super helpful helping me choose between the different mattresses. Alan and Michael delivered the bed today and delivered the bed right to the bedroom removing shoes for each box delivered showing respect for my property and all told a super and stress free experience. Thank you Barker and Stonehouse for a great experience.

Great Service

We were looking for a sofa bed for our new holiday home. We were given a no pressure sales advice from Barrie Molloy at the Hull branch. He was knowledgeable about the products selected and demonstrated as requested enabling us to make an informed choice . The price was great. Overall a great experience.

Good review becomes dreadful experience review

In June 2024 I wrote quite a good review about this company but our experience between then and now has been nothing less than dreadful We ordered suite in Jan 24 which came almost 6 months later but wrong colour And some faults However (as per my good review) this was resolved and new suite ordered In November 24 the new one was delivered… correct colour and made slightly better but the chair had a massive crease in the leather. We reported to store the next day only to be told it was nothing to do with them and to call customer services They sent a French polisher to inspect it (not an upholsterer) who agreed it was a bad crease but his official report said no fault as leather creases normally…. What in a day????? We demanded a further inspection and this time a lady came out and agreed the crease was bad and suggested that it may be made better by adding fibre and heating the leather but would never go completely……. However her official report said no fault but outlined suggested fix… Got call to say 3rd inspection was arranged… why? I called B&S who obviously had some mixed communication but agreed to send someone to attempt the repair and offered compensation if accepted The technician came and wasn’t even aware it was to be a repair. He suggested that it had been damaged in transit and put some extra fibre in and even explained how the damage had been caused. However it did not get rid of the crease and in fact made the chair uncomfortable so I rejected the repair We received a call from B&S who said the report said no fault but agreed with me that it that was the case why was a repair done and in fact agreed she knew how it could have happened in transit so was going to get the report corrected and did we want a new chair ordering… she agreed to call us back. 2 weeks later we chased her only for her to tell us there’s no fault …. I said if there’s no fault why fix it!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting service and we’re still no further forward ….. and no idea what happened to the compensation promised Not sure who is worse … B&S, the manufacturer, the transport company or Emmeira the 3rd party service company UPDATE After chasing even more we’ve got a further update. Because it’s not a manufacturer fault they’ll not do anything about it. However they openly admit it’s been damaged during transit but STILL not going to replace it. What a shambles of a company for aftercare
