The store experience was good at our local store in Giltbrook. The bed was delivered by Peter and Luke, who were excellent. The Ripley bed, which I believe is a Barker and Stonehouse own brand is good. The Simba Hybrid Luxe though is very unimpressive, it has not even lasted a week before failing. Upon examination the layers of foam have not been glued together properly and the springs are now poking out of the side. Will be returning when we can figure out how to contact Simba, our efforts to email them only results in failure! Order number is 19058/000319. Update 31/01/25 - My partner has been told today that someone will come and inspect the mattress but no time frame has been given, meantime I get to sleep on the sofa. A very disappointing purchase of a very expensive mattress!

Looking for a new sofa and chair, we toured the stores on the Hull retail park - Barker and Stonehouse was a clear favourite for us. We spoke to Natasha Rhodes on Sunday and she was very helpful - but not pushy. We wanted to go home and check the sizes etc and then returned yesterday to make our purchase. Natasha was friendly and helpful, very professional and arranged our order for us, making sure that she checked every detail. Wonderful experience - can’t wait doe it all to arrive now!

I have bought numerous items over many years from B and Stonehouse and was confident that the delivery would be great. I had notice of a 2 hour slot and they were on time and phoned to let me know they were close. Colin and Dave were brilliant and efficient as well as being personable. Always 5 star service in my opinion.

Valentina in Guildford showroom was amazing. She helped us pay via PayPal. And the delivery team of Paul and Kevin were really accommodating and super quick. 5*
