Booking a car from a local company, as opposed to one of the international giants, is always a risk. We had arranged for our car to be delivered to the hotel and it was there on time and was in good condition and clean inside. All scratches, etc., were checked and verified. We drove back into the hotel car park about 10 minutes before the drop-off time and someone was there to meet us and take back the car. All in all, excellent service.

All perfect. I was excited When a Guy from maki was wating for me at The arrival hall after a long trip from Argentina . Remember that you may need cash as a garantee. They can improve that accepting credit cards. The car war excelent with only 3000 km. I will rent again with them

Family of 4 here from Singapore . Had researched for car rentals from many sources, and found Maki that provided Automatic car and with free GPS! Rates were reasonably priced too! Was initially sceptical as very few reviews to be found. But took the risk, and it was a great rental! At the airport, the person was there with my name (took a while as it was crowded), took me to the 2015 Hyundai i20, inspected the car, signed the papers and that was it. Similarly, he was there at the airport to wait for my car. Car was new and everything worked. Would strongly recommend Maki again.

Wir kommen am Flughafen von Mauritius an. KEINER oder KEINE hat auf uns gewartet. Wir haben überall nach der Firma Maki Car Rental gefragt. Wir haben viele Antworten bekommen! Danach haben mehrere Männer bei Ihrer Firma für uns angerufen. Und wir haben gewartet und geschwitz! Das war mir sehr unangenehm! Danach kam endlich ein junger Mann. Das Auto war gut aber alt. Am Tag der Rückgabe mussten wir wieder warten. Morgens hatte ich angerufen und vereinbart einen neuen Termin um 18h00 statt 19h00. KEINER VON EUCH DA! Erneut hat jemand für uns angerufen. Der kam 25 Minuten später und sagte, dass mein Termin um 19 Uhr war. Das heißt, meiner neue Termin wurde nicht weitergeleitet!!! Was für eine Firma ist die Maki Firma? Bringt es Ihnen Spaß die Kunde warten zu lassen??? Ich finde es unmöglich!!!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maki Rentals. They have incredible customer service, they helped me along the way and facilitated the conversation between me and the dealers in the Seychelles. They went above and beyond for me. I couldn't have picked a better provider. The cars were fine, allowed me to explore both Mahe and Praslin during my honeymoon. Would recommend.
