I had an extremely frustrating experience with Glover Priests during a six-month conveyancing process marked by poor communication and incompetence. I frequently had to initiate contact, as they rarely kept me informed. In fact, there were entire months where I heard nothing from them. The only time they called me was days after I had already moved into the property. Their online system was unreliable, with many tasks marked as complete long after they actually were, making it impossible to track progress. Communication was so poor that even the seller's solicitors couldn't get in touch with them, leading to threats of stopping the sale altogether. The final straw was when they forgot to pay the stamp duty, which I only noticed hours before the contract exchange, an oversight that could have been disastrous. The unnecessary stress and anxiety caused by their lack of professionalism were unacceptable. Lloyds TSB should seriously reconsider recommending Glover Priests. I certainly won't be using them again and would advise others to avoid them as well
