Avoid this solicitors for your own sanity
Avoid this solicitors for your own sanity. The level of customer service is shocking with no clear guidance or instructions. They have no organisation or forethought and are solely reactive rather than proactive. Oh, and add to the mix patronising. Worst service ever.
Total Shambles - Customer Friendliness passed this outfit by..
Contacted this bunch (Kings Heath Branch Birmingham) on a Monday to arrange an appointment for a free will service, they are supposed to provide for the Month of March. They promised to get back to me ASAP with an appointment. I heard nothing, so on Thursday, I rang to check out what’s the score. I get through to a receptionist who transfers me to the person responsible who informs me all appointments for March are all taken. I ask well it would have been simple curtesy to inform me of that fact earlier as promised, rather than me having to phone again to find out. This was met with derision which I guest sums up their customer approach. One has to ask oneself could you trust such a bunch with anything seriously legal nah!
Stay away for your sanity
I’m appalled by my experience with Glover Priest Solicitors. It’s been six-seven months and I’ve had almost zero response to emails and calls. Both the seller and myself were keen to exchange quickly and no onward chains plus I’m first time buyer. We just cannot get an update or response. At the moment we are two months since we last had a communication or call with them. There is no end in sight.
Excellent Service & Good Value
We used Eirandeep Nijjer at GloverPriest Solicitors for the sale and purchase of our property. This was the fifth time we've moved and without question our best experience in terms of dealing with our solicitor. Both sale and purchase went smoothly (from a legal perspective!) but what set Eirandeep aside from others is his willingness to pick up the phone to his clients. Moving is a stressful business and in the past this has been made worse by not being able to get hold of my solicitor when I needed to. Eirandeep was always happy to take my call and is friendly and knowledgable. His services represented very good value and were significantly cheaper than our local solicitors - the fact that GloverPriest is over a hundred of miles away from us didn't make a jot of difference in this day and age. I'd have no hesitation in using him again and would certainly recommend to others.

I don’t often write reviews but on this occasion I feel bound to steer people away from Glover Priest for conveyancing. From start to finish they were weak with endless unnecessary delays and a real lack of communication by way of updates. When you’re on a train that stops in the middle of nowhere, you just want an announcement, any announcement, to reassure you and explain what is happening. In addition, I felt a general lack of interest in, or awareness of, my purchase. During a phone call close to exchange, the solicitor had to ask me if it was leasehold or freehold. I would strongly advise against using this firm for conveyancing

Emma Reeves- Brown was superb to deal with. She’s spent a lot of time and dedication to her clients and she really helped the case move forward. She’s a lovely and professional solicitor and I really we work together again. Thank you for helping my clients get over the line. Christina at Nestinessex
Repossession Property Purchase
I had an absolute diabolical experience with Glover Priest Solicitors. The solicitor that was appointed to my case was Eirandeep Nijjer, initially he seemed clued up on what he was doing only for time to tell and reveal his incompetency as a solicitor. Repossession properties usually have to be completed within a short time frame and multiple errors such as the sales contract being sent in my personal name rather than company name, lack of responsiveness etc caused at least 4 weeks of delays to the purchase. I had multiple complaints about the solicitor from the agent, sellers solicitors, broker and my lenders solicitors. I can honestly say it is my worse experience i've ever had during a house purchase even the completion statement was wrong as he tried to charge me an extra £4k. You shouldn't expect to be checking over everything your solicitor is doing however this is what is required when working with GloverPriest solicitors. In addition I escalated my complaint to Lesley Russell who is supposed to be the legal executive/director and it was overwhelming that she was trying to defend Eirandeep even though his lack of due diligence caused a number of issues throughout the process. As I was unable to come to a resolution with the company internally I have had to escalate my complaint to the ombudsmen to take the necessary action against the company.

Very slow to respond and to progress conveyancing, very dissappointing so far.

We used Rachel Lloyd at GloverPriest in Wellingborough for our house sale and a pretty complex house purchase. I cannot recommend the firm too highly. In a long life of various property transactions, my husband and I would both rate this firm as outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, customer service and contact was superb, they managed to change direction virtually overnight for us and managed inter-country conveyancing with steely determination to get us where we wanted to be, when we wanted to be there. We would never, now, use anyone else no matter where we are or what we want to do.
Check your completion statement very…
Check your completion statement very carefully. Is your cash back missing? Are there insurances you know nothing about? Are there insurance costs the other party has already agreed to pay? Do the insurance costs seem very high? You may find it difficult to get them to reissue an incorrect statement and even more difficult to get your money back.
