We had rescheduled our trip to Croatia 3x due to the pandemic. Finally when all was booked, we had flights and were ready to go - we received an email 3 days before departure saying our trip was cancelled due to "yacht supplier failure." Essentially they couldn't find a yacht for the trip. The email noted there weren't any available to the "specifications" we booked. There was no offer to upgrade us to another trip that was going - simply nothing available, but if we wanted we could go somewhere in Greece - which would mean we'd need to rebook flights, and resort or plans entirely within a timeframe that was unrealistic. On top of this - when they sent through the cancellation letter for us to show insurers, it had the wrong names written on it. We are extremely disappointed that this happened with so little notice as we were really excited.

My wife and I had the most incredible week exploring the Adriatic Sea on the YG Croatia Northern Explorer route. Everything about the coastline was out of this world - visiting breathtaking landscapes and crystal clear water. Absolutely stunning. Having travelled previously with sister company Medsailors, we were intrigued to find out how big the step up in expereince would be. We absolutely LOVED our Medsailors trip but this was blown out of the water by the service and attention given to us by Henk and Angela, our amazing Skipper and Host team. Both are incredibly passionate about sailing and this shows in their attention to every little detail. Henk is a brilliant skipper keeping everyone on board safe - and also happily taking us through every aspect of sailing and teaching us - incredibly patiently. Then what Angela was able to achieve in the smallest kitchen blew us away everyday. Through the love and care put into the food, Angela was going above and beyond - making sauces, jams and dressings from scratch when could easily come from a jar. As a team Henk and Angela also worked tirelessly to keep the boat and our cabins absolutely spotless - they really are a dream machine. We loved our YG experience - and we hope to return next year to explore another part of the Med.

This is by far the most memorable trip I have ever taken. It was very different and exciting sailing around the Dalmatian coast in Croatia! Our host and skipper, Angela and Henk, were incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. This was the first kind of trip I had taken like this, and I felt incredibly safe in their more than capable hands the entire time. All the stops they made were beautiful and so much fun. They even taught us a bit of sailing! Their attention to detail, and their daily briefs, and delicious breakfast and lunches were always top notch. I would highly recommend them and Yacht Getaways to anyone whether you’re a boat person or not, because you will be blown away. It was definitely a one kind of experience!

Just returned from a great experience with YG sailing between Split and Dubrovnik. YG was a pleasure to work with -- professional and responsive, during many Covid-related changes, and the cruise exceeded our high expectations. We loved our crew - Henk and Angela, and every minute of the week. The food was superb, the Adriatic amazing, the scenery eye-popping and the towns and parks visited made each day its own unforgettable experience. Relaxing, informative and fun.

I would go back to Tahiti in a heartbeat. Such a beautiful collection of islands! Our skipper was awesome and took us to some great snorkeling and swim spots. Our Cat was spacious and modern and very relaxing to sail on. Amazing holiday full of sunsets, sea life and sailing. I’ll be back that’s for sure!!!

Wow! We just had the most amazing experience you could wish for on a yachting holiday... The crew we're such lovely and knowledgeable people, day-to-day they couldn't do enough for us. We had the best host and skipper you could wish for. It felt like we we're pinching ourselves all the time over how beautiful the yacht was too. Everyday it felt too good to be true sailing around all the islands and Bora Bora... it doesn't get any better than that. Even though I've tried I can't describe how good this trip was and thanks again to the team at YG.

Amazing trip in Tahiti on a beautiful boat. Snorkelling in the coral garden and waking up in Bora Bora for a swim with a ray were absolute highlights. Highly recommend, you won't regret it.

Hands down the best holiday we've ever taken! From the moment we stepped on the yacht everything was well above our expectations - from the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the yacht itself, the breakfast and lunch served, the islands we got to explore, and the amazing spots we stopped at to swim - which were many! Don't think about it, just book - you won't regret it. We're already planning our next sailing adventure with Yacht Getaways. It was a truly memorable experience, and one that we will always remember. Thank you Yacht Getaways - we will be back!

One of the best most enjoyable, memorable holidays of my life. Not being a sailor (more of a surfer), it was an amazing experience, living on a boat with 6 of your friends. Plenty of room for privacy when you waned it and heaps of room for dinning & parties together on deck. The boat was very clean and the food fresh and interesting.The crew were very professional / caring and ready to help to make the trip as memorable as possible. They knew all the top stop spots to visit and also a few secret ones, where we had the beach to ourselves. We were treated like royalty from the time we stepped on board to the day we left, 1 weeks latter. I would highly recommend Yacht Getaways as an experience of a life time and would love to do it again.
