We had a great trip with Yacht Getaways. The boat was epic and our skipper helped us find all the best spots in the Med. Great restaurants, gorgeous bays, the most amazing winery on Vis I’ve been dreaming about since we’ve been in lockdown! I can’t wait to do another sailing holiday somewhere else as soon we can travel again!

Spent a week on board ,on very new addition to their yacht fleet ,4 double berth cabins all with ensuites and crew sleeping . 6 of us and best family holiday ever, fantastic weather and locations and captain very knowledgeable and made adjustments to itinerary based on our requirements . All breakfasts and lunches provided and visited some wonderful local restaurants that he recommended. Would love to do it again with Yacht Getaways

Trip around Greek Island . Boat was great ,perfect size for 6 people The skipper knowledgeable and flexible happy to change location or stay longer in one area so felt like the trip was based around what we wanted to do. Stopped off at amazing small villages with great restaurants and shops, swam off back of boat quite an AMAZING experience Breakfast and lunch provided always excellent - would highly recommended and hopefully we will do it again very soon

Fantastic holiday!! Felt well taken care of and super relaxed. Highly recommend a trip to Tahiti. We went to some amazing spots on the island & the boat was luxury. Looking forward to the next getaway!

Had an incredible experience sailing in Greece. Best and most memorable experience of my life. Can’t wait to return and do it all again.

What an amazing way to spend a week, the food, the locations but mostly the incredible boat and crew. Thanks again guys for making this the best family holiday we have ever been on, something for everyone esp given the age differences. Never thought I’d get the chance to charter my own boat, wow. We had the most amazing trip, the staff were super friendly and took us where ever we wanted to go . We stoped for lunch most day’s in little private bags and the best swimming spots. The whole trip felt really authentic and unique. We managed to see so many towns and sites along the way . Amazing value for money and plan to do another trip as soon as I can . Would highly recommend !!!

We have just come back from an excellent holiday with Yacht Getaways on the Northern Croatia Explorer (Split - Split). We would 100% recommend you take a trip with them! Negatives... none really. During the current covid-19 crisis we had had to rearrange a trip from May to August. This was handled efficiently and professionally over email. Both ourselves and yacht getaways had to be flexible with changes to dates, flights and itinerary. My only criticism would be that as we had to change our plans less than a week before we were due to fly out (nobody's fault!) we would have preferred to have been called instead of being emailed, as communication was then delayed and it was a bit stressful. We were supported financially with the changes by YG and we were open to a change of route. In the end it all worked out fine! So TOP TIP: check your emails A LOT before you're due to travel! Positives - plenty!! Helen (our happy, smiley and cracking cook/host) and Freddy (our jolly, jokey and laid back skipper) made the week so fun and memorable that we didn't want to leave! We also met another lovely couple on the trip (Nat and Andy) and couldn't have asked for better shipmates! The restaurants, marinas, bays and excursions we experienced throughout the week were fab; some being recommendations and others just off the cuff finds! Swimming in the sea was so refreshing but there is minimal to see if you choose to go snorkeling. We had a lot of fun with our inflatables and also using the yacht's paddle board. The cabin and ensuite bathroom was bigger than I had anticipated and the space on the yacht was perfect for the 8 of us. Sunbathing on the trampoline was very relaxing and cool. Although the weather was not very windy, Freddy was keen to let us try our hand at sailing if we wanted to but unfortunately for most of the trip we had to use the motor; however, just being on top of the ocean was enough for us! Can't wait to book another sailing trip! Some of our group may even learn to sail... It was immense! So thank you Yacht Getaways!

Wow...just had a week around Corfu....no 2 days have been the same each one better than the last. This has to be a must sail . Thank you for Emma and the staff in the office for allowing us to rearrange to now when it is safe to travel.super clean boats with regular temperature checks for all crew and passengers made us feel safe and relaxed. It has been a great experience from start to finish. The dream team Hector skipper (hector our protector ) and Helen our host what a great team. Hector has an incredible knowledge of sailing and the islands with everyone knowing him both other skippers and locals on shore he really is a great asset. Helen should write a book with her amazing recipes and meals we ate like kings and queens. We have had the best time and have made new friends and created memories to last a life time. Cannot wait to re book and start planning the next trip . Thank you team yacht getaways

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Yacht Getaways insisted that their June sailings were scheduled to go and therefore they couldn’t offer a refund because it was our “choice” to not sail in June. They communicated this to our group in emails, as well as on their website. They pushed forward with this narrative even though the Greek government was restricting inter-island travel during the time frame of our scheduled trip and even when Greece extended the reopening of its airports to international tourists to July 1. After exchanging multiple emails with Yacht Getaways, we noticed they had suspiciously taken the language about “we are set to sail in June” off their website and replaced it with only one option: You can “choose” to reschedule your trip to a later date. Yacht Getaways should have done what many other decent tour operators did in these circumstances and issued a REFUND for trips that could not go forward due to travel restrictions.
