Home customer - great product!
I’m a residential customer, with a FTTP connection and no copper line. I wasn’t that fussed on having a landline and didn’t want to pay £20/month for one. Voipfone is a brilliant alternative - I pay £3.60 a month for a local landline number. My elderly relatives can now call me within their minutes as they don’t need to call my mobile. I have intermediate IT skill and was able to very quickly configure the Yealink W70B to connect to Voipfone. It was so easy. I also found live chat to very quick to respond and helped me with my query. I’m really impressed with Voipfone and intend to transfer my parent’s copper line to the service in the future to save them money on line rental.

An excellent product and exceptional…
An excellent product and exceptional tech / customer support. As an IT manager up to 2007, I used to deal with switchboards. Whilst I am only using this service for a personal UK number as I live abroad, I can see that this service is fully capable of delivering scalable switchboard services to small, medium and large businesses. I am quite blown away with the power of this system.

We are a small accountancy practice with colleagues both at office and hybrid. We have used Voipfone for 2+ years and pleased to say their services are excellent. Yesterday I sent an email to the CS team for hardware assistance. Within 15 mins, Daniel McKenzie called me back. We scheduled to have a session to check our system. He is so patiently understanding our issue. Initially he seems struggle to suggest any solution (because the way we set up the system). He has come up with several practical plans and tested these plans 1 by 1. At the end he has helped us to resolve the problem. We would rate Daniel and everyone at Voipfone 5+ stars service. I set up a small employment law…
I set up a small employment law practice and started using Voiphone. From the start, they have been an excellent resource. Voip allows me to have telephone numbers in my home town as well as London. Voip offer a cost-effective service. I never have to manage them and when I contact them there's always a person (rather than a call centre) to move things on. Voip have been great at every point. I have been with voipfone across 9 sites for many years and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. The customer service lines are individuals who appear to capable beyond their actual job. Very nice and UK based. Occasionally we have had small issues but they are solved quickly and with good knowledge. As this is a self manage product people will benefit somewhat from actually knowing how it works and how to solve issues. My experience is that outages are nearly always 'my router' 'my local box needs a reboot' or the box has been fried by lightening. None of these things Voipfone are responsible for but to be fair they help us get back up and running quickly. And for a business it is such good value!! I am spending much less now than in the 1980s in pounds....overall in business they are pretty much my number one company to deal with. (ps i never do these reviews but i randomly saw some online and I find it hard to believe some of the reviews are genuine or is it that the reviewers are intentionally difficult)

It’s ok
For some reason one of my two numbers doesn’t ring and I had to divert calls from that line to the other , tech support were unable to help and Iv ruled out any faults with the equipment here , it even won’t receive incoming calls with the soft phone app on the iPhone . The line that does work is fine , no problems , good clarity , reasonable price and as a customer of 4 years , generally I am happy. Update - I received an email from Trustpilot stating that Voipfone would like more information from myself to “ help them join the dots” and it’s totally up to me how much how much information I give . I chose not to give any further information , and today I received another email from Trustpilot stating that Voipfone want my review to be verified . In Trustpilots own words this is done when “ The business flags your review because they believe it’s not based on a genuine buying Or service experience with them “ If this is not done within 3 days then my review will be taken offline . I therefore have to disclose to trust pilot a copy of recent transaction with Voipfone making sure the company name is clear and any other information is a bonus . Having given my review in good faith as a true representation of my experience, I see no reason why I should disclose to a third party my details . I have submitted a heavily redacted copy of my latest transaction . The words of “ it’s up to you how much information , if any , you care to give “ now ring somewhat hollow . For this inconvenience and Voipfone’s attempt to track me down rather than let my review be mostly anonymous, and trying to have my review removed , I therefore feel the experience of Voipfone to be less than originally stated , I therefore have adjusted the rating accordingly.

Fantastic! As new subscribers and not technically literate, we were struggling to liven up our new Voip phones. A very patient and knowledgable chap called Richard from customer services spent an hour with us to enable two handsets and we could not have done it without him. You don't get service like this very often these days.
