I have been a customer for 7 years and have found them to be extremely useful. The ability to record calls is essential and it seems to work well over different sites. I am the first to appreciate the frustration of the attacks which Voipfone and others have suffered. However, they seem to have put this right and I refuse to give in to cyber criminals. I found that by diverting calls during these moments I could keep continuation of service. Prices are reasonable and line quality is clear.

Cheap prices but bad service.

Cheap prices, but their packages for the price are not worth it as their services are intermittent at best and would not get your money's worth with the constant technical issues. Always having DDOS attacks, which nowadays there is plenty of software and services to help stop these types of attacks and I have clients complaining that they can't always call our business due to these. If you are happy to have your lines go down for more than a few hours at a time and more than 3 times a month then go ahead, if you want a stable service look elsewhere.

we are now onto the 3 or 4th time the voipfone system has been hacked... All phone lines down, getting no calls... yea i know it hard for you but it's hard for me the customer... I am loosing money. If you don't learn from the first hacks then you will find that once understanding customers, will lose their patience.

Reviews seem a touch unfair

I've been with Voipfone for a few years. Always a crystal clear line (not always the case with VOIP providers!), very cheap and brilliant service on the two occasions I've needed help. The September outages didn't really affect us but it must have been hugely frustrating for all parties. Overall, Highly recommended (from an IT consultant)

For 2-3 days my business has not been…

For 2-3 days my business has not been able to receive and make calls. Clients are asking ME why I am ignoring them and I have had to correct them to tell them it is my incompetent phone network that has left me in the dark and whom have no cyber attack resiliency. THAT is the reason they are being ignored. There has been no email alert to apologise, give notice of how long the issue may last or when it started which has put me in the awkward and embarrassing situation of finding out from customers telling me I’m not answering to realise their is a problem. During this difficult time I take note that Voipfone support took their live chat system off which for me has added insult to injury. Furthermore I take note that my Voipfone control panel was not reachable yesterday. My call schedule (that stipulates the times I am open) rules were being ignored which mean’t customers were being put in a queue at 3am in the morning with me unable to answer them or add an explanatory voicemail. This service has been absolute garbage which is causing my business to look like garbage as a knock on effect. I will be leaving as soon as I can.

I'm a reseller with a large number of customers with these guys. Now almost 5 days on after reporting a DDOS they have turned all their phones off, are replying with canned emails and there is no way to get to them. My customers are livid and are going to start demanding I refund them shortly. You can call their parent company inet Telecoms though. There is absolutely no excuse for this in this day and age!

Initially a great experience

Initially a great experience, really helpful support and a very reliable service. However these DDOS attacks should have been predicted and mitigated by investing in the right architecture, which has clearly not happened. I'm unable to make or receive phone calls for another day, so I'm going to look into alternatives. UPDATE: I appreciate Voipfone's response to this review (and have increased my rating). However - I did not claim in my review that Voipfone had not informed or notified us. DDOS attacks (automated or human sourced) are not new, you should have the right architecture in place to mitigate this.

Need to improve Service Calls

Viopfone are currently having an issue with their system, I think they have an attack issue, so I understand this is not of their making. However did not receive a very helpful reply to my service call today. Telling me they have no idea of how long the issue will last is not really helpful when my business relies on the internet to fubction, it was not communicated in a very concenred way. It's at these times when your service, or lack of it shine through.

I had was having constant issues with getting phones online and connected correctly.

I had was having constant issues with setting up the phones and Kayleigh was absolutely outstanding with helping me. She stayed online with me throughout and explained all the steps so clear for me to feel confident moving forward. She has such amazing patience and helped boost my confidence with this new system. Everyone so far at Voip have been amazing and I cant thank them enough for their constant help.
