A really good experience from start to finish…. I only went in to have a look at new doors and 30 mins later i’d ordered 2! WYW kept me up to date via the portal with timescales & delivery dates. The initial surveyor was friendly, as were the installers who came. They cleaned up when they had finished. I’ve used WYW before and would do so again.

West Yorkshire windows customer services responded very promptly to my e-mail and arranged for an engineer to attend. Richard contacted me that he was on his way and arrived on time and started the remedial works once he had assed what the issue was. These were carried out fully and he explained why and how he was adjusting the door.

Had conservatory built in August 2019 On Tuesday 14th March 2023 one of the ceiling / inside glass panels just exploded into thousands of pieces without any warning whatsoever. Fortunately no one was in the room at the time. My wife was in the kitchen adjoining the conservatory. If any one had been underneath at the time serious injury could have occurred. We immediately contacted WYW and were asked to E Mail photos of the broken panel. This was done. We were informed the cost of glass panels are not covered in the guarantee but the fitting of a new one would be. I disputed the fact due to nothing in the guarantee saying they are not covered. I was then told that breakage is not covered but failure of glass is covered. We were then informed we still had to pay as this is a breakage. Now this is quite ridiculous as it is obviously a failure of glass as no breakage occurred. Without any contact of the glass it suddenly exploded into thousands of pieces. This is not the customer service expected and I am far from happy. 70% of the conservatory/orangery is glass. How can glass not be covered when nothing had been done to make this damage occur. This is extremely poor customer service and expected this to have been dealt with much better. ———————————————————— The reply we have received on 21/03/23 is factually incorrect. We have had 2 possibly 3 call outs to make repairs since our Orangery was built in 2019 1) In 2021 to repair some plastering which had fallen out in one of the top corners. Also the beading on one side was coming away from the wall and had to be put back. There may have been 2 separate visits I am not sure to complete both jobs. 2) On 24/2/23 only 18 days before this glass panel disintegrated on 14/03/23 we had a call out to repair a leak from the guttering joining the house, through the silicone and water was running down the wall. Also and very significantly we had 2 plastic partitions on the roof that had slipped down out of place. The service engineer who fixed these went on to the roof to put the 2 plastic pieces back in place and tighten them up. He used a rubber mallet to do this. Both these pieces were next to the glass panel which suddenly disintegrated 18 days later.

Great showroom where you can see what you are buying, some other well known companies don’t offer this! Friendly staff who were happy to stay after closing time to ensure we got what we wanted. Installation team were prompt, friendly and did a great job. Third time we have used WYW and have also recommended to family.

Carl Farrar came and gave the quote, after assessing our needs. What an asset to this Company! Professional yet approachable & his detailed report was first rate. Sadly due to prices, even after Carl made adjustments as we requested, WYW were too expensive for us.
