Great service had full house of windows & doors fitted, the fitters were great clean and tidy. There was a problem that the wrong pattern of glass was fitted to the bathroom and there was a little scratch on the landing window this was sorted and corrected within the week. would highly recommend this company. She is over the moon with the finished product and I will certainly be recommending to all my family and friends. The installations team were very helpful throughout the job giving us updates when necessary and also explaining the job step by step. The job was pushed back and finished much later than expected, there were numerous issues that we had to notify them on throughout including a cracked window. On inspection of the extension after it was completed, there was loose trim and a scratch on the window. The company was emailed and we were told that essentially, it was our fault and that we would have to pay for a replacement window ourselves. After to-ing and fro-ing of emails. It was eventually passed to complaints. Only then as a 'goodwill gesture's did they say they would replace the window. I would not recommend this company to anyone. After paying 22,500 for an extension, we did not expect this low level of customer service and so many issues.

Had our windows and front door installed 8 years ago and never had a problem with them so we had bifold doors fitted to the back 2 years ago which we were delighted with. We decided to get rid of our tired 14 year old Conservatory last year so contacted West Yorkshire Windows again and they replaced it with a new Conservatory with a solid roof. I can’t thank them enough for the superb service from start to finish on each job and would definitely not hesitate to recommend them.

We had a conservatory built and all the windows replaced 12 months ago. Still trying to sort out a leak in the conservatory. The aftercare has a lot to be desired. Dealing with the maintenance guys is poor. They dont seem to know what they are doing. Had a problem with bedroom window. Took time off work and guy with pony tail said he had not brought the right equipment. Took 2 visits to sort. Now leaking in conservatory. Been leaking since Jan. They came and shoved a load of ugly sealant under the dome at the top. Manager said this was not good enough. Still leaked. They ordered new decorative top, and came with wrong part. Still waiting for a response to this. Now leaking again. Just excuse after excuse with leak not being sorted out. avoid at all costs. keep having to have time off work and they come with an excuse. Getting very sick of this! Next step is ombudsman and then small claims court.

Excellent service from start to finish Would highly recommend

In May West Yorkshire Windows completed work on our conservatory which included the addition of a Supalite roof. We had been assured that we would receive certification that the roof did not require Building Regulations. As this was not forthcoming we contacted West Yorkshire Windows and requested that this documentation be provided. We were advised that photographs were need to send to Supalite in order for them to release the documents. We were asked if we could take them or would we prefer WYW to come out and do this themselves. We suggested WYW do this as they would ensure the photographs were correct. Time moved on and still no documentation, the final email being sent to Peter Bowles on the 3rd of September. He chose not to respond. We then contacted Supalite ourselves and they were able to confirm that the had a record of our roof. What they didn't have were the photographs, which they advised us they had been waiting some time for. The photographs they told us should have been taken during construction to demonstrate correct installation of the roof. Luckily my husband had taken photographs during the time the additions were being made to our conservatory. On reviewing these Supalite agreed that these evidenced correct installation of the roof. Had we not had these it is doubtful that we would have been provided with the certificate stating building regs were not required, our guarantee certificate and certificate of authenticity.It would appear that WYW have not complied with the requirements of the manufacturer and this concerns us. The installer should have been aware of what was needed. Should we wish to sell our property we would need to provide these documents and, as our contract was with West Yorkshire Windows, should not have had to obtain them ourselves. Supalite were happy to deal directly with us and sent the documents direct to our home address, but it has taken until October due to the failings of West Yorkshire Windows. The only reason we have given 2 stars is that we are happy with the final product, but there were a number of other issues which can be seen in a previous review.

Happy with the communication and sales appointment. Really like the quality and look of the door and bay window I purchased. Just disappointed in the attention to detail given in the fitting. Sealant is not very neat and cracks left in inside plaster not repaired very well. Expected a better quality fitting for price paid.

From my first appointment to the actual windows being installed I have been impressed with the service offered by West Yorkshire Windows. I was given help and advice and am truly delighted with the results. The workmen who installed the windows were careful to cover everything with dust sheets and kept any mess to the minimum. They cleaned up when they had finished and even vacuumed and I would certainly recommend West Yorkshire Windows to any of my friends. The windows which I chose were not the cheapest but well worth the extra for the quality.
