Very inefficient customer service.
I have had an awful experience with this company. I never write a bad review but in this instance I think the buyer should be aware and customers aware that if you have any issue with their couriers just cancel and move on to a more reliable vendor. My experience started in mid November. The Christmas present I ordered was not delivered by their courier. The company notified me of issues with the address (which other companies had successfully delivered to) and I updated it, gave them an alternative, phone numbers etc. There was never another attempt at delivery. While they were sending emails to the courier, the courier was returning the package to their depot in Belgium and ignoring them. I assumed Skatepro were looking into the courier but looking back they were just sending an email without checking the status of the package (this was going on for weeks). To cut a long story short. Last week I cancelled the order and reordered and was told to expect it this week (I gave them a different address), they then emailed 4 days later with a revised delivery window (one being the other side of Christmas). They then email me today and say they cannot deliver due to some technicalities on their end. So here I am a few days out from Christmas left high and dry. They are great emailers but unfortunately can't back up their commitments in my first and last experience of dealing with Skatepro.

This is a long one so buckle in. I ordered two sets of skates and all the safety gear needed as well as bags to carry them for both my partner and my kids birthdays. I ordered with plenty of time to spare to be on the safe side. I ordered it on the 1st of Nov. I was waiting for the delivery and reading the updates on the tracking.This went on till the 14th of Nov when it said it had been delivered when it hadn't and they said it had been signed for. I called skatepro and they started a enquiry. They did not receive any information from gls so they sent out a new package on the 28th of Nov. I explained that it was birthday presents which was on friday week and was assured it would be with me between 3 to 5 working days. I called after 5 days and was told there wasnt any reason it was late but to wait and was also given 10 euro refund. I missed both birthdays at this point. I called again and was given a further 20euro. The package finally arrived on the 14th of December. Then 3 days later on the friday the other package arrived. I then received a phone call on Monday at about 9.30am. I was told I need to print off a label and bring the package to gls pickup spot. I asked can the post me a label as I dont have a printer and was informed they were being fair and it's the least I can do. Iv now wasted all the time I had to spend on the phone to them trying to get my package. Now I'm being told I need to spend more time sorting there issue. The last call the person was very rude and abrupt. Reply First I waited over a month for my product to arrive with no info from gls on why they said the first package had arrived and was signed for when it hadn't been and why was the 2nd package so late. The issue with the last phone call was the language used. All the other phone calls were perfect and I must compliment all the staff I dealt with up to the last phone call. All I asked would it be possible to post me out a label as i will struggle to get to a printer. And i was informed that it isnt possible.i was then informed " I MUST print the label off" "I MUST bring it to a depot" and that it was the least I could do. So the least I could do is put myself out even more. Spend more of my time. To fix the problems your company and your partners created.

I’ve ordered a few times from skatepro and I won’t be doing it again. Ordered skates and they came used, had to ship them back myself, replacement came and still used also had chew marks on them like it was animals ,3rd time finally was ok but still had scuff marks. Got discount off. Ordered a rail another time and they sent the wrong rail but an extension, had to ship back again and finally got rail. I wasted petrol to go back to post office multiple times and customer service was rude. Never again. They actually called me! I never gave them permission to ring me and only gave my number for delivery. My review is not just based on my experience but I have a few friends that experienced the same. Calling me to give compensation so what I would lie and take my review down? Very shady.
