BASIC GREEN WELLIES NOT TRUE TO SIZE Always buy a size larger in wellies to enable wearing thick socks etc. I ordered a size 6. Two pairs arrived promptly but when I unpacked them they looked extremely small. Wearing only very thin trainer socks I tried on the boots only to find that I could just about squeeze my foot in to the size 6 boot when I am around a 5. I compared the boot to my old Wellington and it is about an inch and a half shorter. Very disappointed especially as I have bought many brands over the years and always a 6. I telephoned and was told that goods may only be returned free of charge if they are faulty and despite saying they are if they are not true to size I was refused a returns label. I read the latest review on the website about wellies not being true to size etc.. I therefore rang again and spoke to somebody else about the problem and the review I had read from 7 days ago and they have now sent a returns label. Maybe a problem with a new batch.....but surely it would have been good customer service to have sent me a free returns label straight away. Thank you for doing so in the end though.

Worst experience ever, the Wellies I ordered in a size 7 are more like a size 5 1/2 and very small. When I wanted to return them, I was advised they don’t do free returns. Charming! So now I had to pay postage twice for an item which was not as described and I have lost/wasted money and no wellies. Disgusting service. I will never buy there again and I will tell all my friends and family the same.
