SMAS Renewal BEWARE T&C’s

A very intransigent organisation that uses “T&C’s” as the means to enforce automated renewals and fees taken 6 weeks prior to the renewal date and doesn’t allow for any cancellation opportunity & subsequent refund…They are happy for you to cancel but will retain £700 of your money…small businesses need flexibility & large organisations should understand that we don’t have persons sitting on emails, when working as a bricklayer, I don’t focus on an email that says you have 5 days to cancel, takes the money on the 6th and won’t be flexible at all…very, very poor…be aware. Small business need to know how inflexible SMAS are I will be letting all my friends family and work acquaintances know of their underhand practices *UPDATE * Just been contacted by ryan of SMAS has agreed a full refund will be forthcoming good customer service at last thanks

Helpful Assessors applying good standards

My start on the assessment was difficult, partly because some of the key information was not requested. The Assessor and his mentor were both extremely helpful and facilitated my delivery of the missing information very efficiently. Many thanks to all involved for their positive and helpful approach.

I work for a small solar business

I work for a small solar business, and so finding the resources to go through a process like this can be daunting. We initially were with another SSiP scheme, who frankly, were useless. They never got back to us, didn't pick up the phone and provided near to no guidance. The difference with SMAS couldn't be bigger. They provided really useful guides for the process, gave us a dedicated employee who helped us through the process and regularly checked in with us to see how we were getting on. They responded to emails on the same day, were quick to pick up the phone and were genuinely helpful people. I'd recommend SMAS to anyone who's thinking of going for an SSiP accreditation, particularly small businesses with small workforces.

Excellent and speedy service

Excellent and speedy service . application submitted at approx 1pm and by 9am the following day had an email to say that we had passed the accreditation. Have been using SMAS for probably 11-12 years and they have always been very very good. Can Highly recommend them.
