Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company, ordered spices, never arrived. Have emailed and used contact form on the website, no reply and no items, but they have my money. Total crooks. Tried to leave a review on Facebook and been banned off their page
Ordered on 25th October
Ordered on 25th October. Still not received. Have emailed 3 times not even the common courtesy to respond. Tried to put a comment on a Facebook post but surprisingly was ‘declined’ by admin. I have ordered twice previously and the product itself is excellent in terms of quality although instructions are lacking .

Absolute Joke. Ordered 21st October next day delivery, been told it was dispached 9th November. Still nothing 14th November Read recent reviews about this company, they don't answer emails and call reviews liers. Plenty other spice shops online that do deliver next day

Don't bother ordering. You won't get them because they will be lost in the post.
I placed an order for several items of spices and a Balti dish. After waiting weeks for the order I decided to get in touch via email and no response. After waiting a while longer I got in touch again and I had the response saying that the goods had been dispatched and that they must be lost in the post and that a refund had already been arrange. A very strange way to do business. The delivery drivers must have the finest well stocked cupboards in the UK.

Where do I start with spicy joe(Nigel the owner)I ordered some of Als spices and a sizzle plate on sept 11th after a week I contacted spicy Joe to be told they had been dispatched and should recieve the next day with Evri a few days passed and after emailing several times with no reply I managed to speak with Nigel on the phone whom seem mystified why I hadn’t recieved my goods he says he will resend the items. This went on for another two weeks and he says that he has sent them three times with Evri.i contacted Evri who inform me that they have never recieved anything from spicy Joe for me.after a heated exchange on the phone Nigel in fairness refunded my money but said he would honour my order as I had been let down.Nigel then informs me that he thinks my deliveries from him are being stolen and cannot afford anymore time in this order and has sent my items out again via DPD and would send tracking details out that afternoon but guess what DPD never recieved anything from spicy joes.im sorry to say after many phone calls many tx messages and many non replied to emails i still have not received anything the guy im afraid to say is a liar and hope you have better luck with him than i did but reading the other experiences that people have had with this company on here i think probably not.

I rarely write reviews, however, I am Very disappointed, and I ordered on Tuesday for next day delivery ( only option available! And one I would not choose to use). Did not arrive, instead and email confirming my purchase and they would contact me when my items were shipped …. That is NOT what I paid for…. I sent them an email expressing my concerns on Wednesday….. no response to my email at all! Still no response and it’s now late Friday night….. I would appreciate a response to my email with an explanation, and I would have accepted that, however, no response even an automated one is very poor practice
Ordered a an Als Kitchen spice pack and have received nothing for nearly 3 weeks
Ordered a an Als Kitchen spice pack and a Balti Pan on the 8th October. I was fully aware that the site states that there could be a 7 day delay in dispatch. On the 19th October received an email stating that my item had been dispatched. Checked the tracking details and they stated that they had not received the package. It is now the 27th October the tracking still states that they havnt received the packege. Have sent 3 emails and attempted to make 5 phone calls have not had a reply or had any calls answered. Looking at the other reviews it seems like they treat complaints with contempt. They will probably say i am lying but the dates above are accurate. Maybe someone from the company will reply to this message and i may change my opinion. UPDATE 30/10/23 After sending another 3 or 4 emails and getting no reply obtained a refund from paypal. My advice if you deal with these people use paypal as there is a good chance you will be let down. Taking customers money and lying about sending the goods is fraud in my eyes. Especially when you dont respond to polite enquiries.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered spices from Als Kitchen and was directed to Spicy Joes I ordered and paid £3.75, the only choice, for what I thought was next day delivery. Eight days later I am still waiting. I’ve enquired this evening and ended up in a personal argument with Nige, their contact. It seems that the £3.75 is next day delivery from dispatch, that didn’t seem to be obvious at purchase. I mentioned I would make a social media comment and he entered into a personal attack into my weekend activities while he was having a good night out and that he would expose me by name. WOW!! I’m scared. He mentioned there was a warning on the site that there was a backlog for Al’s orders, but it wasn’t there when I ordered. I understand the late delivery, although an explanation would have helped, but his arrogant, threatening and patronising comments means I will not use this company again. I RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS COMPANY.

AVOID Should have read the latest reviews before ordering. Would never have ordered. No reply to my emails. Customer service non-existent. Spicy Joes left an awful taste in my mouth.
