To whom it may concern I like the card the amount was small which is okay but I don't like the annual fees of 70 something dollar fee and then again I'm going to charge me $100 fee that is too much fees I don't like fees but overall the card is okay the amount is small I wish I could have started with at least 500 but we're building trust and I'm going to do all I can to make sure that my trust stays with you all

I’m fairly certain the good reviews are not from real people. This is a joke. I cancelled a small amount credit card I had with them in October of 2024 with a ZERO balance. Zero. As in, I owed nothing and had charged NOTHING to that card in well over a year from the date I cancelled it. Welp, just happened to get an email for ‘review your Avant account’ just this month (weird right?) and it said I owed them $10. Huh. Even better, they had reported to the credit bureaus, so now my credit dropped 25 points. Nice. So I called them yesterday to find out why. The woman couldn’t really explain it and kept going in circles, so I hung up. Called back today to pay the balance owed and confirm this was ALL I WOULD OWE. Yeah, after 5 minutes on hold, she comes back on and says payments need to be made consecutively for THREE MONTHS to end the card. Um, WHAT?!?! I can cancelled the thing in October, paid the ENTIRE AMOUNT DUE today and might have to pay more? For a card I hardly ever used in the first place?!?! Fraud and scammy. So reported to the BBB, and wouldn’t you know, similar complaints from other folks there too. DO NOT use this crappy company. Please. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!
