I usually write positive reviews but my experience with the Chesterfield Company was not good and hence the low rating. I am pleased with the Furniture I received but the Chesterfield Company were let down badly by their choice of delivery company and subsequent customer service. I ordered a sofa and 2 armchairs from the Chesterfield Company. They used Furdeco based in Birmingham to deliver the furniture. Furdeco performed really badly and you can find more details in my Furdeco Trust Pilot review. Furdeco delivered the sofa and only 1 armchair on Wednesday 8th December 2021. One armchair was not on the van. The delivery men did not know why. I rang the Chesterfield company in the afternoon of 8th Dec to let them know about the missing chair. It took until the 13th December for the Chesterfield Company to tell me that Furdeco had located the chair at their depot in Birmingham and a leg had been broken (the chairs had wooden legs about 8 inches long). The Chesterfield company said that they would get Furdeco to return the chair to their Factory in Salford for repair. Furdeco did not return the chair to the Chesterfield Company until Monday 10th January, 4 weeks later. I know this period included Christmas and New Year but I think this was far too long and the Chesterfield Company showed no sense of urgency to rectify the problem. I had several telephone conversations with the Chesterfield Company Sales department during this period and always got the impression that they thought the delays were just something that I should accept. They were chasing Furdeco regularly and they had been closed during the Christmas/New Year period. It didn't seem to matter that I had paid for a chair that had not been delivered and I was an armchair short during the Christmas period (having disposed of my old suite). I finally received the repaired armchair on Tuesday 25th Jan delivered by a different company based in Sheffield. I live in Greater Manchester only a few miles from the Chesterfield Company and it seems strange to me that the delivery could not have been made by a local company.

We ordered the sofa in Oct and delivered on schedule without delay. The service is great and the quality of the sofa is good.

Bought a Leather Toiletry Bag Cognac Gillian that had a type of square hook. That hook looked nice but it was way to easy to push it of the peg or shower wall I hung it on. A few messages with customer service and I got a different hook and are now super happy with the bag :) The bag itself is really nice and seem to be good durable quality. (Have only had it for a few months)

I purchased a three seater Balston in Hazel full grain leather. Following my order confirmation, I was informed when my sofa would be delivered and received several courtesy calls from the carrier. The sofa itself is of the utmost quality and extremely well made. It is has become the signature piece of furniture in my living room. A professional service throughout - I highly recommend.

Excellent customer service. Our sales assistant was really helpful in assisting us with our choice of furniture and fabric. Looking forward to our new furniture arriving.

Great service

I purchased the two seater Bolton sofa bed and reclining high back chair, the items arrived as promised and to the spec I requested. I have to say the craftmanship is superb, excellent quality, incredibly comfy and very robust (as one would expect with quality chesterfields). This company provided excellent comms throughout the process. My only gripe is the courier service used for delivery - Proovia - absolutely rotten service. This of course may not be the company's usual courier service, as delivery was scheduled between Christmas and New Year and many courier services suffered staff shortages due to Covid. I definitely recommend Chesterfield Sofa Company to anyone looking for bespoke quality chesterfields, in fact I have already referred several family and friends their way.

The chair arrived in great condition. It was very well packed. The dispatch information that I received was accurate and efficient. I am very pleased with the chair - the first comfy chair I have ever owned!

Myself and my wife visited the Chesterfield sofa company factory back in May, They have a great range of sofas and a huge range of leather choices. Once we chose the sofa we placed the order and paid the deposit, three months later the sofa was ready and was promptly delivered. The whole experience was a pleasure and now after owning the sofa for about five months I can honestly say it is the best sofa I have ever owned. The comfort and the look is excellent. The choice of styles and shapes presented in their showroom was great and allowed us to find a sofa that suited us and our style.I would not hesitate to recommend the Chesterfield sofa company.
