Good price on Elasta frame - my favourite!

My original frames broke after my 7 year old sat on them... I tried to muddle along by tapping them for as long as I could but ultimately found it necessary to replace the frames. I purchased my original frames via local opthamologist office - small town, buy local. Generally happy with the buying experience with Frames Direct! Fast, easy and frames arrived in a timely manner with sound packaging. Too, noticed there is a warranty on some aspects of purchase for a period of time! Love that!! 4-stars instead of 5-stars because I felt like the final price was misrepresented from the advertised price. In my search there was advertised a discount code for 50% off, but when I attempted to use the code it was "invalid" and instead of offering 50% off it offered 10% off which made the final price (with taxes and shipping) the exact price listed prior to any discounts. So, do I think I made a "fantastic purchase", no. But I do recognize that ultimately the price I did pay by purchasing via Frames Direct is the same as if I had gone with any number of other discount frames purchasing links. Don't bait & switch with super attractive ads representing steep discounts that aren't "real". Just be upfront with people and the product, price, warranty, and find another way to "hook" new customers. Still, less than I would have spent in the doctor's office... so, thankful for that!

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and paid online. Apparently a measurement was missing and instructions were given as how I could remedy the matter. I did as requested 3 times and still they had an issue. Order cancelled and awaiting a refund. Go there at your peril
