Great taste very good value for craft made

Purchased a pie at lunchtime today as I’d never had a Bowens pie before. Halfway through I noticed something stringy in my mouth as I took a bite. I pulled the pie away to reveal a long black hair around 8 inches in length. Of course I didn’t finish it. However, I did write to Bowens via email and quickly received a response from the director Paul Bowen. I have to say that in this day and age, mistakes still happen and being one of their products you’d expect some kind of resolve. Oh no! Totally on the defensive suggesting it didn’t happen m, especially from any of his staff as they have little or no hair at all and all males in the bakery! Then proceeded to state he would be “reaching out to our butter and potato supplier” to “remind them of the importance of wearing the correct PPE”. Then continued to add that he hoped it wouldn’t put me off a purchase in future. Not it won’t but your attitude certainly will.
