My daughter lives in Munich and every year she orders a selection of pies to be delivered to Leicester for me. I look forward to their arrival as I can't get a decent pie down here. ( They've not heard of Butter pie) They always arrive chilled and never disappoint me, absolutely beautiful pies.

Delivery was right on time, everything ordered was received. We’ve ordered from Bowen’s numerous times but this time we tried a few different products, namely the cherry pie and the pasties. I felt that the latter, despite being very tasty, had pastry that was slightly too thick for its contents. The cherry pie, another first, was outstanding and will be ordered again. The reason I’ve dropped my score one star is the decision to reduce in size the Balti pie. Yes it is now cheaper but I’d have preferred to have paid more for the original size. Make no mistake though, Bowen’s pies are fantastic. You won’t get anything close in a supermarket. Pastry is superb, pies are full and have bags of flavour. Definitely recommended.

Delivery took over 48 hours and pies were warm to touch on arrival. Bit disappointing because Bowen's pies are very good but they seem to continuously have problems with their online orders and deliveries. This is the 3rd order (out of 4) in 12 months that has either arrived a day late or hasn't even been dispatched. If their cherry pie wasn't my wife's absolute favourite then we would've given up on them already.

Delivery delayed beyond anything like acceptable Bowens refused to offer me a replacement free of charge bearing in mind the products only have 5 days shelf life - it would have taken at last 7 !!! Poor customer service Won’t buy again from them

Good communication and customer service. I've not tried them yet as I'm saving them for Christmas.
