I purchased an £180 gift card from Tiso back in March 2023. When making the purchase I asked the sales advisors how long the card was valid for ( as no expiration date was confirmed to me ) and was told there’s no expiration date. I then decided to look online maybe 9 months into having the card, to check the policy and found that it also confirmed there was no expiry. I have now tried to use my voucher today and it’s saying the balance is invalid. Upon investigating why this could be, the website now states it’s for 1 year since date of purchase and all information regarding no expiry has been cleared. If your policy has changed that is understandable, but you need to keep information online about the gift cards bought before this new policy was inforced. I’m extremely angry and left feeling terribly anxious having to now await the outcome of my complaint regarding this.
