The tap water here in part of Devon is heavily treated for agricultural runoff, and tastes quite foul to my mind. We bought the Fibredyne to filter out any lead from our mains pipes and I guess it does so, but the taste of the water is just as advertised - bottled water quality. With our usage the last cartridge lasted well over six months. Fully recommended.
