My parents are older and just not wanting to prepare and cook each and every meal. I first tried the prepare your own meals where they send all the pre-measured/cut ingredients and you cook it. They did not enjoy the taste of the foods - just too different for 80 year olds. Also, realized that they didn't want to prepare "complex" foods either (again, for 80 year olds). They thoroughly enjoyed this gift. Already cooked - just heat and eat. My dad raved at how tasty each meal was and loved the individual desserts! My heart is full that I can do this living on the other side of the country and they love it!

Love this service for my daughter's birthday I just sent her the birthday meal for her and her boyfriend to enjoy. this is the 3rd time using Send a Meal and I and my daughter love it!!!!!!!

Checking out was a little finicky, other than that, it was great.

I sent the meals to a relative recovering from surgery, so that she would not have to cook. It got there quickly and they have enjoyed the first one. It was much appreciated.

Good selection and arrived as promised. I am giving this four stars as they sent two emails to review before the meal arrived to the recipient’s house, and the tracking feature didn’t work. As the meal was sent to relatives after a death in their family, they have not told me yet how the quality of the meal was; they have been overwhelmed. It was pricey due to the short time frame for shipping, but I justified it as reasonable for a restaurant meal for eight.

As missionaries in Ireland, it can be difficult to come up with gifts for our loved ones in the States. I was googling birthday gift ideas for our daughter and FOUND YOU! Seemed like the next best thing to being there to take her OUT for her birthday dinner. What I loved about Send a Meal was the SUPER EASY ordering process, CHOICES, and user-friendly website! What our daughter and her family loved, was their MEAL! They enjoyed their steaks, stuffed potatoes and cheesecake. (The cheesecakes were with a separate dessert order from Send a Meal). The caramel apple tartlets that came with the meal will be saved for tomorrow! THANK YOU, Send a Meal!!!!!
