This was a sympathy gift. The options were great. And the receiver thanked us adding that "this was so much better than flowers!" The only issue was delivery time. Delivery is ultra expensive if you want the meals to be received while a family is still in the initial mourning period, and that delivery still got the meals delivered a week after the loved one had passed.

We give Send A Meal to our employees who have had a new baby or home with an injury. I’ve gotten nothing but thanks and praises on how good the food is. Keep it up!

The ordering process was easy, the delivery was on-time and the food is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you can't be with your family- you can still share a wonderful meal.

Delicious! We had the Shepards Pie. It was so good. It was so nice not to have to cook after knee surgery. The lobster ravioli was good as well.

Would have rated the service a 5, but customer service was confusing. I never got an email confirming my purchase or expected delivery date. A few days later I was able to track via order number and it confirmed the purchase and delivery time. According to recipients, the food itself was delivered promptly, packaged excellently, directions were clear, and the quality of the food was great, and well-received. This was a gift for sister and her husband while she was recovering from surgery. Would recommend to others, and I will probably order again for a Christmas gift

I thought it would come around thAnksgiving No directions for how to cook the pie and no answer to my inquiry I haven’t cooked the turkey yet. The dressing is tough I won’t do this again
