Zero Gravity has been a lifesaver
Zero Gravity has been a lifesaver. With the help of my mentor and attending all the excellent masterclasses has helped me pursue my goals and keep me motivated and focused all throughout the application process. My mentor has been one of my closest assets and helped me both emotionally and informatively, something i’m very grateful for Zero Gravity for providing.
The magic of Zero Gravity…
Through discussions with my mentor and students on Zero Gravity, I was inspired to seek out opportunities. For instance, I was selected to speak at Parliament, and possessed an internship with my local MP. From attending the personal statement masterclasses to the LNAT sessions, I became confident that I could tackle the application process for university. Having first-hand experience of the support that Zero Gravity provides to students, encourages me to remain a part of this organisation. In terms of being a mentee, whether it was choosing the top 5 universities for my course or applying to law firms for experience such as Slaughter and May, my mentor has been incredibly supportive. During year 12, Dara was able to provide feedback for my personal statement in detail, allowing me to see the way it could be improved which led me to receiving an offer to read law at LSE.
Zero Gravity experience as a whole
Zero Gravity has been very important in my development. I have been able to find answers to many questions that I was too afraid to ask in person. I learnt that being unsure about University and a career is completely okay. I used to worry about this constantly. I have also been able to find opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge, from masterclasses to webinars. This knowledge has improved my flexibility and has given me the act of doing something to reach a goal. Helping others with their questions has also been a great experience. I am always happy to make changes in people’s lives, even if small. Moreover, my mentor has been amazing. He has constantly reassured my doubts and worries through advice and conversations. I always enjoy talking to him as I can relate to his experiences, from being an IB student to managing deadlines.
Great help in making competitive applications.
Before signing up to Zero Gravity, I was very afraid my application was not going to be competitive enough for the top universities. However, upon meeting and having my first session with my Zero Gravity mentor, I had completely gained my confidence back! I realised how useful their advice really was. From personal statement to stylised interview preparation, my mentor advised and encouraged me on how to make the most out of my application, they offered multiple mock interviews and spent several hours editing my personal statement with me. I have now received multiple offers from amazing universities and Zero Gravity definitely helped me get to where I am today, thanks to their amazing network of students and scholars alike, there is someone willing to help for everyone!
How ZeroGravity has enabled me to access my full potential and provided me with tremendous support.
My zero gravity mentor has been an incredible source of inspiration and guidance. She has made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process of my university application, offering constant support and encouragement. Her guidance and insightful advice helped me prepare for the LNAT, ensuring I was well-prepared and confident. From refining my application to providing strategic tips for the test, her dedication was evident at every step. I aspire to become a solicitor to offer support and guidance to others facing legal challenges. I am driven by the ambition to make a meaningful impact in people's lives, advocating for justice and providing assistance where it is most needed. Thanks to my mentor, I have gained not only knowledge but also the confidence to pursue my goals.
So grateful!
I am passionate about all things creativity and thinking against the grain. When I felt underestimated, Alyssa, my mentor, spoke life into me. Week after week, she took her time to encourage me,and consistently poured into me .When I received my rejection from Cambridge it was earth shattering yet through my lows Alyssa taught me that the journey is not linear but a process which completely altered my mindset. I am forever grateful to zero gravity for perfectly matching us. I will never be the same
Excellent
I’m Suz and turned 18 a couple of days ago! I’ve had a strong passion for football since I was 6 years old and last season whilst doing Zero Gravity, I broke into the hutton ladies first team. Like many other girls it has been a difficult journey sometimes finding places to play and be taken seriously, similar to school. I am one of 3 girls in my entire economics class which has been challenging at times but rewarding at the end. I’m looking to do German with business at uni which my mentor, penny, helped immensely with in the process of finding unis, building my personal statement and applying. It was much less stressful thanks to her efforts and time and resulted in me receiving all 5 offers back. She made sessions enjoyable and by the sounds of it did very well to fit our and other sessions into her very busy schedule at Oxford. She took the time to get to know me and really help me understand what I wanted out of the unis I was going to be applying for , which I think I would be really struggled with by myself. For Zero gravity itself, the masterclasses and communities helping me narrow down what future industries truly interested me and find the best revision methods for German too, a subject really declining and ever harder to find help for.
Zero gravity
Zero gravity has helped me to to get information about how I can get financial help and this has been really helpful since I am an international student It is really hard for me to get any financial aid _
I am determined and hard worker
A great leader company to get the best out of students potential
Amazing Help
My mentor was the best help in getting organised for a very stressful time in Y13, she was constantly giving concise feedback on my drafts no matter how many times i sent them and was the main reason i felt confident i was going to receive university offers, earlier to this when university wasn’t the main focus in Y12 she was helping me get familiar with university life, she sent a few of the studies she was learning about and working on, as a way to further my understanding and prepare me for the critical thinking that’s essential in succeeding at university and further.
