Amazing, so much support and just a wonderful community!

I have been a mentee since the summer of 2021 and it is one of the points in my life where I question, if I did not make this decision, where would I be right now? I had come across ZG through a tiktok (ik so genz) and signed up towards the end of Y12. To be honest, I had forgotten about it until late August where I had gotten confirmation I had been matched up with my mentor, Rob. Rob will forever be one of the people in my life that I will always be thankful for. Starting university now myself, I had no idea he was going through all of his first year experiences yet had enough time to mentor me, sometimes with calls lasting 2 hours. The main goal of the calls were university applications but Rob had go beyond and also helped me with Alevels. I had no idea how he managed as I question whether I’d be able to do what he did now that I am in a similar position as him. ZG provided me the platform to count in-house y interact and be mentored by Rob for almost 1.5 years - throughout this time I had gained so much knowledge that would’ve been inaccessible anywhere else. It was because of Rob, and ZG, that I am in the position of being one of the first in my family to attend university and a RG uni at that! Rob was with me from writing out my personal statement to offering advice on my uni packing list. Without ZG, I don’t know how my path would’ve looked like. Thank you Rob :)

Zero Gravity is incredibly helpful for students making their university applications. The platform being free is a huge bonus and helps bridge the gap between wealthy students who can afford private tutoring and those who are less fortunate, as it gives them a more equal chance. I found that being mentored by an undergraduate student who is doing the degree I aspire to do especially useful, as that student recently went through the exact same process, and same problems as I am going through.

Zero Gravity is an invaluable tool for students looking for extra support in their university applications, with the support of mentors (who were just doing their applications 1-3 years prior) being crucial in helping students select a university, course and complete their personal statement.

The masterclass was amazing, you can really tell that Kam is an expert in coaching and us very enthusiast about it !! Every second was useful, packed with great information and he even gave us his email if we have any further questions. I wouldn't have gotten the advice from anywhere else, for example Kam taught us how to take our bad thoughts into neutral state through a breathing technique and smiling. Kam also taught us how to practice this in our daily life up to the interview. So , we got great advice and were taught how to apply it. I now feel more prepared and motivated for my interview.
