Zero gravity was great at helping me…

Zero gravity was great at helping me with my university application. By helping me find a mentor, and providing masterclasses, I felt more confident when creating my personal statement and making decisions about where I wanted to study. I also enjoy how the platform allows you to connect with other students throughout year 12 and 13, as well as your mentor, to keep them up to date with your application process.

An excellent way to boost your chances of getting into university

The most useful aspect of the program is that everyone there is going through the same problems as you - everyone needs to choose their options, write their personal statement etc. and this creates an sense of togetherness. The administrators and facilities are also very helpful, and you get such benefits as a personal mentor throughout your journey, a helpful set of masterclasses and lectures, and access to a whole community to ask and answer questions. Overall a very useful resource which I recommend to anyone considering it.

Very useful for students

Zero Gravity has helped me a lot through yr12 and yr13. Their masterclasses on personal statements have guided me immensely through the UCAS process and have lessened my worries. My mentor has been extremely encouraging with me by helping me with topics I struggle with as well as proving feedback. I would definitely recommend for those aspiring to go University especially those who are unsure where to begin.

Exceptional

My experience with Zero Gravity has been exceptional! Through the mentoring scheme, I have gained an insight into life at Oxford as well as support from my mentor on the university application process. As well as having the support from my mentor, the webinars are exceptionally helpful.

ZeroGravity - an invaluable source of support

There are two sides to ZeroGravity: the mentoring and the community. The mentoring is, I have to say, invaluable so if you're eligible please take it up - I would have a much weaker uni application without my mentor's support, there's no judgement at all and it's really great to have that perspective on your application or whatever it is. I must admit the community, and various webinars and other support material, I haven't used very much, but this is mainly because I don't like to have too many sources of input - from what I've seen, if that sort of support works for you, it's a pretty great space and set of resources. It's probably good to be able to get support from other applicants in your position as well, because there'll be certain things we'll all collectively have to work out, so I'm going to start using it more. Overall, zerogravity has been an indispensable platform for me so far and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

I cannot recommend Zero Gravity enough!!

First and foremost, the community feature has always been so helpful when I have had questions regarding open days, university applications, and revision for entrance exams. The masterclasses have also always been incredibly useful, especially the ones centred around current university students giving an honest review about "uni life", and their career prospects post-graduation. The BEST Zero Gravity feature, however, is mentoring, where you can apply to gain a mentor (a university student who volunteers some of their free time to assist you throughout the different stages of your UCAS application, and more). 'Mentoring' can take the form of weekly calls (for approximately an hour) or it can simply take place whenever both the mentor and mentee are available, and this feature has undoubtedly helped me immensely in my "journey" to uni. I cannot recommend Zero Gravity enough to sixth-form students looking to boost their personal statements, or simply to those looking to improve their chances of getting into university in general. You have absolutely nothing to lose by using Zero Gravity, and, potentially, everything to gain!
