A local company providing great coffee and confectionery. Really easy to order from and delivery was prompt. We ordered coffee ground for an aeropress and it’s perfect. It also arrived really nicely presented. I’d definitely recommend them!

As an American living in the UK I have found it hard to find good coffee until now. Flat Cap is a small batch roasting company located near Andover owned and operated by husband and wife Matt and Alex. I chance on meeting him by visiting his shop to repair his boiler, I’m a commercial gas engineer. We got talking about coffee and he made me an espresso shot and I was amazed by the taste. It was the shot I have had in the UK that wasn’t burnt. That didn’t have the harsh flavour of poor quality beans. You could taste the fruitiness of the bean. It was sweet without sugar. Perfect. We got talking some more about coffee and this guy is passionate. He knows his beans. He knows where the good ones come from. He knows good coffee. In short, unless he goes Starbucks, he has a permanent customer.

The coffee probably one of the best I’ve had and the chocolates were divine. Was really looking forward to receiving the package and it did not disappoint.

Firstly, price is very reasonable for what you are getting, stuff arrived quickly and was really well packaged, you can see the care and attention that they put into even the little details. Now, the important thing, what is the coffee like? Bloody amazing that’s what. I’m new to the whole artisan coffee bean scene, and this was my first foray past the big brands, or supermarket beans, and I’m glad I did. I honestly don’t know how to explain it, it’s coffee, sure, yes, but it’s so much more than just the usual coffee flavour, just tried the Costa Rican and FlatCap blend. Totally different flavours and experience, it was actually quite weird to find out that coffee isn’t just coffee.... It’s not expensive, buy a bag, give it a go, support the smaller companies, you might just find something wonderful

Without question the best coffee we've had. You can smell the quality before you even open the fantastic package that appears very promptly. Roasted and ground to order and absolutely fantastic. We will always be getting our coffee from Flat Cap Coffee going forwards. Can't recommend highly enough! ;-)
