Highly recommend.
Used Coat primer and eggshell to cover a door painted in dark grey to a much lighter colour. Really impressed with the coverage and finish. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this brand of paint.

Will only ever use COAT…
We’ve used COAT PAINT a few times now, and will only be doing so moving forward! A massive fan after using another named brand paint rhyming with “arrow & wall”🤣 on a previous house renovation. Our decorator said it was great paint to work with and good coverage. COAT have a wide range of available colours, all of which are available in different finishes. Each tin of paint is made to order as well which is a nice touch. The company of “B” certified. Support small business, especially a good one! Honestly, great work team COAT. 🙌🏼

Coat Paint Review
This is the second batch of paint we've bought and again we are delighted with the end result. The paint is easy to use and looks amazing. We will definitely be buying more from Coat Paints in the future.

Whilst the paint is a nice quality
Whilst the paint is a nice quality, I found it on a par with Dulux Heritage range, not quite on a par quality wise with Farrow & Ball. By quality I mean ease and efficency of application, texture, colour match to sample and overall finish. However what I am not a fan of with Coat is a rather unethical method of selling. A hefty delivery cost for which you only have one option of courier, next day delivery. But don't expect next day delivery, it is more like 5-6 working days. Coat do not sell anything smaller than a 1 litre can of paint. Already it is priced at a level that makes it not accessible to everyone. By not selling smaller tubs, touch up size pens or tubs, or small quantity tubs to make up the difference, Coat is forcing the buyer to pay more (including delivery) and to waste more. I did not have a good experience with soft sheen Ditch the Tie paint, which I required to scrape off the walls again. I do not believe this would have occurred had I chosen a different brand, nor would I have wasted near £100 on paint. Due to this, I won't buy again. The colour range is nice enough, but no different to whats available elsewhere. Average quality and poor ethics in sales is the decider for me in not recommending this paint. Go for dulux Heritage, f&b or similar, where you can purchase smaller tubs, in store and speak readily with staff if there's any issues. It's just not worth the hassle and wasted money.

Average. Not Great.
We spent months testing paints, from F&B, Dulux and others, but went and got some testers from Coat. We went with mindful soft-sheen for the bathroom - the colours and the fact you can move the stick on testers.. helps and prob why we chose it. I will say... the colour is good to tester. However, the paint quality is pretty average compared to others and the finish really did require 2-3 coats in areas - note this was a new wall, with white undercoat before. As with some other reviews - it is delicate i have had to touch up since. restrospectively.. my tester patches with F&B have held up better.. and I am now going to use that in other areas of the house. If only F&B did movable stick on testers !

This is the best paint we’v ever used
This is the best paint we’v ever used. The quality, consistency and coverage is fab. When dried it looks seamless and has a good depth to it. I ordered a sample colour swatch first and it is true to the colour when dried. Excellent product. I am very impressed.

Fabulous paint!
I was recommended COAT paints by a friend and I’m so pleased I acted on the recommendation. This paint is amazing! The coverage is smooth and no drips which always annoys me with other paint manufacturers. Two coats is fantastic coverage as one coat covers nicely, even on dark colours. I’ve painted most of my house with COAT over the past year and now moving to a new house so I’m excited to use more colours! Colours I’ve used are Mr Clifton - gorgeous dark teal blue, Hamilton in my lounge, so relaxing mixed with neutrals and greens, Kind Regards is the most beautiful soft, warm neutral which marries up perfectly with Yard Party on a feature wall. Duvet Day is a delightful warm neutral that goes well in all rooms and looks stunning with white paintwork. I could go on and on but I’ll leave you to check out their excellent, easy ordering website and see all their wonderful colours.
