Please don’t use

Please don’t use. After six months it attracts moss. If you hose your patio it will knock the resin out of the joint. Waste of money. Never drys and you could drag it out with your fingernail. Absolute con.

NOT EASY GROUT

Imagine you're laying a patio of porcelain paving and you need to grout it before you get paid my advice is DO NOT BY ANY MEANS USE EASY GROUT it is to loose even throughout the jointing experience I adjusted the water content to try and aid installation to no avail. It took us 8 hours to essentially pour dark grey slop onto paving then try to get it off we still have a day's cleaning to go. I watched the video several times I've been paving for over 30 yrs I cannot believe just how RUBBISH this so called easy grout is. To conclude the only easy part was to waste my money and time Do not use it

Great Product

Just had to review after reading the negative reviews I had a Riven Indian Sandstone Patio Laid and the Contractor used Easy Joint he says uses nothing else for speed and durability The Patio is now 3 years old and the pointing is perfect, not cheap but saves on labour would recommend to anyone. just wash it in with plenty of water and it sets solid.

I bought 5 tubs of the easy grout for…

I bought 5 tubs of the easy grout for porcelain paving for a landscaping project. I usually use a traditional grout for external conditions. But was looking at ways to speed things up a bit. I followed the instructions and the mix was so wet. We then amended the mix to make it really stiff to fill in the joints at the edges of the patio otherwise you would have no chance. It was a dry day and minimal moisture in the joints. Working outside there is always likely to be some moisture! It takes far to long to set and even longer to clean off. Stick to a regular grout and save yourself the hassle. Very poor product and certainly not Easy!

Terrible product

This product is not fit for purpose...application may be easy & the result looks good for a very short period but the product disintegrates, comes out in large lumps & discolours very quickly. A second application after 12 months has not helped...we now have patches of original colour next to patches of black, discoloured product & it looks terrible. I’d say the only people happy with this product are likely to be the patio layers because it’s quick and easy for them to use...sadly it’s rubbish for those who have to live with it.

Very expensive Very poor performance

People who laid patio used this and applied it according to instructions washing it in with a hose and brush. Was very expensive and looked good for few months. Unfortunately porous nature means gets dirty very quickly. One winter and although patio was sealed and care was taken NOT to pressure wash the grout directly it just disintegrated. Am having to remove the Easy grout and re-grout some 100 square metres of patio paths and ramps. This product may be quick to apply but does not last test of time and is just not fit for purpose in comparison to other grouting methods.

Easy to put down, but does not stand the test of time

I was really pleased with our finished patio last year which we used the mushroom joint compound with, easy to put down and easy to clean up, however after just one year the compound is coming away from the slabs in areas and all of the compound is now black which looks pants with the slabs. I had thought this was simply just dirt, however it is all the way through and nothing I've tried so far will clean it up, so whilst I may have been pleased with the initial set down, it has not at all stood the test of time. Looks like a rake out job.

Poor Response To A Query

Contact this company after purchasing 10 tubs of their "Easyjoint" brush in jointing compound. This product has started to discolour after less than 10 months in use. I followed the installation instructions to the letter, making sure the patio had the correct base & drainage. When I noticed the discolouring I contacted their customer services hoping for some advice, but all they try to do was sell me another one of their product range to "clean" up the discolouration. I had already explained that this discolouration was NOT due to dirt or grime, but the actual product altering colour. They still try to sell you more product !!! I now have to dig out the "Easyjoint" and replace with another brand. Not great after just 10 months. If anyone is considering using one of these brush in compounds on their patio, please consider a different brand to Azpects Easy Joint. It looks good initially but just does not last.
