Personal Data Risk

This service requires you to email personal ID or use a form that collects additional information. This is NOT advised before you buy the service - only in the small print after they have your money. It is a hassle and worrying as for all situations when companies require personal details.

Cowboys, illegal theft of post and criminal behaviour

This company has scanned post and illegally retained this information (contravention of Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR)). They kept restricted post and illegally logged into my companies house web filing service to change address to my home address without authorisation: there is a specific form which can be submitted if the address isn’t authorised. In my case I didn’t renew in time. However, this does not grant permission to use my scanned log in details to companies house in order to authorise themselves as company officers in order to change details, and then log out. This is a criminal offence under the Fraud Act 2006 (part 1,2; and 4), Postal Services Act 2000, and contravenes the Companies Act 2006. The legal consequences- which will be felt vehemently - are imprisonment, criminal record, and an unlimited fine. When I complained of criminal conduct, I was told to grow up. We shall see who grows up when I take them to court and report them for fraud. I urge anyone who has ever missed renewal and had their address changed, to inform themselves of HOW this company changed their service address to home address. This can be easily ascertained by phoning Companies House and determining whether the address was changed using Form RP07, or whether an unauthorised person logged into your Web File account. If you didn’t provide login details to Ghost Mail Ltd, then they have obtained that information somewhere else. If they have scanned mail to you and that is how they obtained that information, then that is corporate theft, fraud by false representation; and anything else that could happen to your company. It’s thoroughly illegal. If they have illegally accessed web filing by unlawfully appointing themselves with unauthorised access, to report them to the police for criminal investigation (you will obtain compensation as a consequence of litigation) and to sue them as I am doing. It is against the law. When I complained of criminal behaviour, I was told to “grow up”: all documented. Would YOU trust Ghost Mail Ltd with sensitive information captured and stolen at the point of scan? Well I learned the hard way. Imagine if that had been a company AMEX card. The mind boggles. They’re cheap for a reason. Ask yourself why… I am also contacting the owner of the premises they deal with because to quote you “…to inform them of suspect or illegal behaviour…” whilst acting on their behalf. Having seen other atrocious reviews of Ghost Mail Ltd, I can assure you that I will endeavour as best to wind this company up and stop all of the other scammed companies who have had the misfortune of coming into contact with this fraudulent company, suffering similar vicissitudes. I expect a commensurately lengthy response from Ghost Mail Ltd - as seen in response of other negative reviews - to comprise of the same narcissistically blame-centric rhetoric and word salad. But I don’t cry wolf, so it won’t be ending there. If you receive an award against a company that winds up or is criminally culpable, their public liability insurance or protection provided by limited company liability is void: you can personally go after the directors property. Ghost Mail Ltd claim that the terms and conditions allow them to submit forms to companies house: this isn’t in dispute. There are paper forms they can submit or digitally submit. It is HOW they have gained access to my online web filing which is the issue. When scanning my post, they have unlawfully retained information and post, stored it and used it without authority. This is THEFT and they have effectively STOLEN my post. I have pointed this out clearly within this review, and all of you can clearly see their demonstrable arrogance and nonchalance regarding this inconvenient fact. They don’t care one iota that it is against the law. Trying to get these big headed know it alls to understand the difference in distinction is clearly an uphill struggle. They have committed criminal acts. And by the way, consequences isn’t spelled consequenses, so if you want to dictate legal terms and conditions; first, get a firmer grasp of the English language of which you purport to possess a superior knowledge. You’ll have your day in court Ghost Mail, when you are able to assert and articulate the law as it exists inside the Director's head, and perhaps the judge may humble and deflate your vacuous big headedness. Let’s see how long it takes for you to beg me for an out of court settlement shall we. Lol. Perhaps the burden of the most expensive legal representation I can obtain so that you can suffer the costs, will do your arrogance some good.
