Delay in subscription delivery

Now i like Wellguard ans they did email about a delay however I was a bit disappointed as I have a subscription in place to get my products delivered monthly but received an email 3/4 days after taking my money to advise that there was a delay due to the demand for one of the products in the subscription. From subscription start date which was the 30th my produ9were not delivered until the 8th. If someone has signed up for a subscription surely they should take priority when it comes to availability and also why hold back the full subscription for one product.
