I will NEVER part with money again without paying £20 for an HPi check!! I've just found out that the car I (thought) I had bought (and paid for in full) .... didn't just "have it's logbook lost" .... it has been flagged up as having been 'exported' by the DCVLA and so can you imagine the faff that I would have to go through in order to make the car legit!!!! Plate changes too .... what the hell!!!! Never again will I buy a vehicle without an HPi check .... lunacy!!
