my car wasnt taken off the hpi register as having finance against if for at least six months? now the finance house has removed it,but i have waiseted an hli check on my car? so i loose through the incompetance of others so how true is your check?

It would be a mistake not to use A HPI CHECK ON ANY CAR you are thinking of buying. It gives you peace of mind and let's you see something that someone could be hiding.

Done a hpi check on a vehicle hpi stated vehicle was hpi clear, two months later vehicle became category D, contacted hpi about their guarantee & so on they said they will investigate, got a phone cal a few days later who said yes vehicle is category D, was wrote off months prior to me doing the checks, after buying the vehicle upon relying on the hpi report & it becoming a Category D write off I had lost a lot of money, Hpi said they cannot do nothing for me their promise of £30000 guarantee is fraud even after complaining they said they cannot do nothing for me made the excuses of terms & conditions & so on and just began to ignore my complaint, Please avoid using Hpi perhaps use experian or book RAC inspections or AA when buying a car.

The website functionality is very good and I'd recommend it. The only thing that's a bit frustrating is that downloading a printable copy of you report isn't really possible (unless you screen print all the tabs) If this element were fixed then it would be a 5 star site!
